My family and I made the move to NJ from NYC in 2018 and never looked back! With the help of Pollock Properties Group, we secured our forever home in West Orange, and now, I am part of the team as a REALTOR/Sales Associate.
I come to the world of real estate in a roundabout, yet very direct way. After working in the not-for-profit performing arts world (at New York City Ballet and New York City Center) for two decades, I shifted into full-time suburban life, tapping into my love of homes and the JOY of working with this team by becoming a full-time agent My mother was a realtor, and I spent every summer home from college working in her office, knowing that someday I would also work to help people find THEIR dream home.

You have a choice in how your home is priced:
You can choose to price your home competitively, so that Buyers will be driven to compete for it Although it cannot be guaranteed, this pricing strategy gives you the highest likelihood to receive multiple offers that could drive the price UP
With this data-driven approach, you choose to price your home based on the current inventory of homes that are actively on the market, as well as the recent sales that are comparable to your home This will line up your listing price with the eventual appraisal report that your Buyer will obtain, making the mortgage process smoother
You might choose to “test the market” at a high dream list price It is important to know though that the GSMLS showed an average sale price of 104% of list prices in 2024 Therefore, if you list your home for your dream price and do not have an offer(s) within the first two weekends on the market, then the market will have spoken, and it will be time to drop your price to the market-driven pricing strategy

The Pollock Arts Initiative (formerly known as the Vanessa Pollock Music Initiative) is a fund that helps underwrite instrument and arts equipment rentals at the elementary and middle school levels in the South Orange/Maplewood school district, to eliminate financial barriers to student participation in arts programming In addition, the PAI supplements Achieve Foundation funding of grant requests related to visual and performing arts, and may be used to help maintain the District's inventory of musical instruments and other arts-related equipment and supplies We have a heart for the arts and are honored to have given back in this way for over a decade now!
