403. DAVEY CROCKETT FRONTIERLAND MUSEUM TOMAHAWK. (Disneyland, 1955) Davy Crockett was a five-part series which aired on ABC in 1955 as part of the “Disneyland” TV show. The series starred Fess Parker as Davy Crockett and Buddy Ebsen as his side-kick, George Russel. The show was an unexpected success for Disney and spawned the Crockett coon-skin cap craze. Wanting to capitalize on the show’s success, the Davy Crockett frontier museum became a marquee attraction just inside the Frontierland entrance when the park opened in 1955. This Tomahawk with an actual stone blade was identified as a prop from the TV series when sold by the studio in the 1990s, but more likely a prop from the museum at Disneyland. Measures 22.5”x8.5”x1.5”. It has leather straps and wooden handle. In good condition with wear and aging to the leather and other decorations. $500 - $1,000

405. SUBMARINE VOYAGE FISH PROP. (Disneyland, 1959) Fish prop from the original Submarine Voyage attraction in Tomorrowland. Constructed of fiberglass and measuring 9”x6”x2.5”, this prop would have been suspended under the water as part of the many scenic vignettes placed along the ride. In fair condition with some pieces of fins missing and/or chipped. $300 - $500

404. DAVEY CROCKETT FRONTIERLAND MUSEUM FLINTLOCK GUN. (Disneyland, 1955) This prop flintlock gun was identified as a prop from the Davey Crockett TV series when sold by the studio in the 1990s, but more likely is a prop from the Davey Crockett Frontierland museum at Disneyland. Measures 14”x6.5”x2.25”. In good condition. $200 - $400

407. CRUELLA DE VIL PAINTING PROP FROM DISNEYLAND MAIN STREET WINDOW DISPLAY. (Disneyland, 1962) The windows on Main Street were often decorated with elaborate dioramas celebrating classic Disney releases and current movies. This hand-painted 15.5”x13.5” painting Cruella de Vil Painting was a prop from a Disneyland Main Street window display. In good condition with wear throughout. $100 - $200

408. DISNEYLAND RAILROAD DRUM SIGN. (Disneyland, 1970s) Plexiglass drum sign for the excursion train on the Disneyland Railroad. These signs were fastened to the railing of the last car of the train and were backlit. Measures 26”x26”. In fine condition. $3,000 - $5,000
