682. “Adventure Thru Inner Space” Atommobile Prop. (Disneyland, c.1967) An extremely rare “Atommobile” prop from Disneyland’s “Adventure Thru Inner Space”. While waiting in the attraction’s queue, guests could watch as their fellow adventurers boarded their vehicles and would amazingly begin to shrink to the size of an atom. This original prop from the attraction features three guests aboard their shrunken atommobile, with each guest hand-painted and adhered within the vehicle. This particular prop comes from one of the viewer displays located throughout the line queue that gave guests a wonderful look at the shrunken vehicles. These display pieces are modeled differently from the other prop shrinking pieces throughout the attraction and are extremely rare. The atommobile measures approximately 9” tall and 6.5” in diameter, and is displayed on a wooden base. The condition is good overall with some small scuffs and dings throughout the prop from use, as well as some scattered spots of discoloration inside the atommobile. $6,000-$8,000
683. “Adventure Thru Inner Space” Brochure. (Disneyland, 1967) A stylish early Disneyland souvenir brochure from Monsanto’s “Adventure Thru Inner Space” attraction. This colorfully illustrated brochure depicts the Mighty Microscope and describes the process by which guests “shrink” during the attraction. Measuring 3.5”x6”, the brochure is in very good condition with minor wear from use. $100-$200
684. “Adventure Thru Inner Space” Souvenir Record. (Disneyland, c.1960s) A very rare “Miracles from Molecules” souvenir record from Disneyland that features the music originally composed for the “Adventure thru Inner Space” attraction in Tomorrowland. With words and music by Richard and Robert Sherman and an orchestra conducted by Buddy Baker, this very rare record measures 7.25”x7.25” within its album cover and is in very good condition with little cover wear. $100-$200
