OWEN PARTNERS ASSOCIATION (OPA) OPA is a club that helps connect spouses, fiancées, partners and families to the Owen community Pursuing a business school education at Vanderbilt is a significant joint decision, and we feel it is important to support and include all who are involved. We hope that by joining OPA, you will have a unique and rewarding experience as a member of the larger Owen community. All partners are encouraged to participate in social events and Owen clubs and to take advantage of all of the outstanding resources on the Vanderbilt campus. We want you to feel as welcomed and involved as possible because we know that this is both an exciting and challenging time for you and your significant other.
Meet the OPA Co-Presidents
Bernie Goldenberg
Bernie and his wife, Esther, relocated to Nashville from New York City so Bernie could pursue his MBA at Vanderbilt’s Owen Graduate School of Management. Bernie’s concentrations are in Strategy and Marketing while Esther works as a surgical registered nurse at St. Thomas Hospital. Bernie previously worked in the media/tech space with roles in Business Development and Marketing. Bernie completed his internship this summer with Comcast. Bernie and Esther live in the Midtown area of Nashville and love being part of the Owen family and community.

Brittany and her husband, Wilson, relocated to Nashville from Greensboro, North Carolina so Wilson could pursue his MBA at Vanderbilt. Brittany took on a role at Hire Dynamics as a Staffing Specialist. She previously worked as a teacher for the Guilford County School system. Brittany and Wilson live in the Belle Meade area with their loving dog Cadet. They try to attend as many Owen events as possible and love being apart of the Owen family!
