Grayhawk is just north of the 101 at the entrance to North Scotttsdale. It is outside of the Scottsdale school District. Newer homes, but no city center, Grayhawk is known for golf and is near the PGA annual Phoenix Open

Located just north of the 101 in Phoenix are the newer master-planned communities near Desert Ridge mall. Shopping and restaurants consist of most of the big box and national chains.
This area is also close to the JW Marriott conference resort, Golf courses, Lifetime Fitness and the Mayo Clinic. Single family homes can be found here from just under $1 million to over $3 million. Larger homes are typically 2 story due to the density here.

Desert Ridge is north of the 101. The closest retail and dining center is the Desert Ridge mall. Desert Ridge is in Phoenix and close to the Mayo Clinic Phoenix campus.
