St. Cloud Porcelain Prunus Covered Bowl or Tureen & Cover, French, Circa 1730. (Ref: NY9086-nnpr) The circular St. Cloud porcelain covered bowl or tureen is decorated with a prunus decoration in relief after the Chinese. Dimensions: 5 inches high x 6 inches in diameter.


French Porcelain Pot Pourri Jars & Covers Modelled as Lidded Baskets, St. Cloud, Circa 1745-55 (Ref: NY9087-narr) The St. Cloud porcelain potpourri is modelled as a two-handled flower basket (panier de vannerie) raised on a pierced domed base (terrasse) with applied garlands, the flat pierced cover strewn with very finely modelled naturalistic flowers and twisted garlands. French Porcelain Pot Pourri Jar & Cover, Mennecy, Circa 1750-55. (Ref:ny9088/XcLP)) The Mennecy porcelain potpourri jar & pierced cover has applied individual florets (en forme de pelotes de neige) or schneeballblĂźten decoration (snow ball) and a naturalistic moss-covered rocky base modelled with a branching tree to one side. The cover similarly decorated and with three series of holes for potpourri in the shape of a flowerhead. There is a single raised flower finial. The interior lip of the cover with a slight loss. Dimensions: 6 3/4 inches high x 6 inches wide x 4 inches deep ( 17cm x 15 cm x 10 inches Reference: French Eighteenth-Century Porcelain at the Wadsworth Atheneum: J. French Porcelain Oval Tray, Probably Jacques Vermonet & Fils Factory, Boissettes. Circa 1776-80 (Ref: ny9089A-lm) The French porcelain small tray is painted with floral bouquets. Dimensions: 8 1/2 inches wide x 6 1/2 inches.

French Porcelain Perfume Bottle with Bouquets of Flowers, Circa 1775 (Ref: ny9089C-ir) The pear-shaped perfume bottle has moulded raised panels to each side with flower bouquets within to each side with gilt metal mounts to neck and stopper. Dimensions: 3 1/4 inches high x 1 1/4 inches x 3/4 inches deep (8.26cm high x 3.18cm x 1.91cm deep).


French Porcelain Paris Oval Trencher Salts, AndrĂŠ Leboeuf rue Thiroux, Paris, "Porcelaine a la Reine", Circa 1780 (Ref: ny9090-iir) The trencher salts have an oval stepped moulded body painted with a band of cornflowers, fushcia-coloured flower heads and leaves with a gilt band of swags above and below. Dimensions: 3 1/4 inches wide x 2 1/4 inches deep x 1 1/2 inches high (8.26cm wide x 5.72cm x 3.81cm high) Mark: Crown mark with initial A for Marie Antoinette in red.



French Porcelain Soup Tureen and Cover, Boissettes Factory, Jacques Vermonet & Fils, Boissette, (Duke d'Orleans) Circa 1780. (Ref: ny9091-kma) The rare elegant and stylish tureen after the Sèvres rises on four flared feet and is well painted with bouquets of flowers (Bouquet détaché) to each side and with scattered flowers throughout. The finial is in the form of moulded vegetables in the form of a mushroom and a radish. The terminals of the feet, handles, and rim are highlighted in gold. Mark: script B in underglaze blue. Dimensions: 8-1/2 inches deep x 11-1/2 inches x 7-1/2 inches high (21.59cm deep x 29.21 cm wide x 19.05cm high) Examples from this rare factory can be found in the V & A, London and The Gardiner Museum, Toronto. Reference: Ceramics: 400 Years of British Collecting in 100 Masterpieces, Patricia F. Ferguson, Page 110-111 for a Sèvres tureen with almost identical feet and handles and similar floral decoration. French Porcelain, Aileen Dawson, Page 301, for discussion on the Boisette factory. The author notes that little is known at present about the hard paste porcelain factory near Melun (Seine-et-Marne), around 32 km (20 miles) from Paris.


Paris Porcelain Incense Holders, Attributed to Jacob Petit, Circa 1830. (Ref: ny8932-lrrx) The pair of Paris porcelain urns are incense holders with pierced covers. The dodecagon shaped urns (twelvesided) are raised on four gilt animal feet and have a gilt band around the raised base. On two sides of the body are applied gilt male face masks. The gilt top rim has open-work panels. The cover with a gilt rim and a large raised opening in the centre and six openings. The body and cover are lavishly painted with an overall dramatic design on a sienna coloured ground with large colourful flowers in blue, orange, green pink and yellow. On one side is a mythological serpent with a gilt bird head slithers through the flowers. The underside with a blue ground and painted in the center with a gilt flying insect. Condition: Excellent. Dimensions: 7 inches high x 6 inches diameter (Body: 4 1/2 inches diameter). (17.78cm high x 15.24cm wide x 11.43 deep).


Sevres Crested Porcelain Soup Plate, Louis Philippe I, Château de Compiègne, 1845. (NY8645-pm) This is one of four services made for King Louis-Philippe I. Gilt decoration in center of crowned LP lettering surrounded by one laurel leaf branch and one oak branch Mark: Marked in red underneath for Château de Compiègne, Marked in blue underneath for Sèvres 1845 Marks M for gilder Jean-Louis-Moyez. Incised marks for moulder Incised JC 10 44 Dimensions: 9 1/2 inches x 1 1/2 inches high.


Antique Paris Porcelain Set of Botanical Plates, Marked Flamen-Fleury, Circa 1830-35. (Ref: ny7520-ulr) Each of the set of four Paris porcelain circular plates from the Flamen-Fleury factory depict a different named botanical specimen within two gilt bands and a solid gilt rim. Mark: printed in orange Flamem/Fleury/a Paris Diameter: 8 1/2 inches.


Paris Porcelain Dessert Service, Attributed to Dagoty, Circa 1800 (Ref: ny5237-cumr) The finely decorated Paris porcelain service in white with gold bands to border the central band consisting of a series of large gold filled circles. The service consists of the following: 12 Plates (9 1/2 inches), 1 Openwork Fruit Stand Height: (6 1/2 inches; Length: 10 1/2 inches) 1 Covered Boat-shaped Tureen, cover and fixed stand (Length: 10 3/4 inches) 1 Oval footed Tureen, cover and stand ( Height: 7 1/2 inches x Length: 8 1/2 inches 1 Circular Tureen, cover and stand hole in base of tureen (Diameter: 11 3/4 inches) 2 Medium waisted Square dishes (7 inches x 7 1/4 inches); 2 Large waisted Square dishes ( 9 inches x 9 1/4 inches); 8 Shell dishes (9 1/2 x 9 1/4 inches) 2 chipped.; 2 Rectangular long dishes (1 chip) (12 1/4 inches x 5 3/4 inches); 3 Boat-shaped dishes (10 1/2 x 5 3/4 inches); 3 Octagonal dishes (8 inches); 4 large circular dishes 1 oval dish, 2 square dish (1 chip)



Paris Porcelain Botanical Coffee Pot and Cover, Circa 1825. (Ref: ny4609-cam) This coffee pot has a gilt foot, handle, spout and rim, it is finely decorated with garlands of flowers running around the shoulder. There are gilt panels with flower arrangements in baskets. The mouth of the spout is in the form of an animal head. Some very minor rubbing to gilt below rim on one side. Height: 9 inches ( 23cm).


French Royal Painted Silk Textile Portrait, Marie Thérèse of France, Madame D' Angoulême, Eldest daughter of Louis XVI and Marie Antoinette and only surviving child. (Ref: ny8448-urr) A painted sikwork portrait of Marie Thérèse of France who was the eldest daughter of Louis XVI and Marie Antoinette. After Louis XVIII died on 16 September 1824, and was succeeded by his younger brother, the comte d'Artois, as Charles X, Marie-Thérèse's husband was heir to the throne, and she was addressed as Madame la Dauphine. Dimensions: 12 3/4 x 11 1/2 inches x 1 3/4 inches deep.
