126 ~ Collingwood Neighbourhood House Bamboo Cafe has been a part of the Collingwood scene since 1996. Located on the corner of Joyce Street and Vaness Avenue, across from the Joyce skytrain station, Bamboo Cafe began as a simple coffee house, sporting about 500 square feet. Over the years, as the Collingwood area began to develop, the cafe decided to take on may exciting changes. In early 2009, Bamboo Cafe expanded and underwent a major restaurant makeover. Now, a second home for many of our patrons, Bamboo Cafe continues to serve up caffeinated beverages, pastries, baked goods and home-style comfort food in a casual, relaxed atmosphere..... just like a home should be... And like all homes, Bamboo Cafe is fully licensed.
