The digital world might seem far removed from nature, but could it be the key to helping us imagine and build a better, more regenerative world? NatureVerse explores the beautiful and surprising symbiosis between the technological and the organic. In recent years, the impact of climate change has become stark in its immediacy, and it is provoking urgent, bold changes. By 2024, multi-species thinking – which puts all of nature, not just humans, at the centre of design – will move to the mainstream, and protopias (a more pragmatic aspiration than utopias, rooted in incremental steps towards progress) will be used to develop achievable solutions to overwhelming problems, harnessing the combined powers of nature and technology, including biotechnology and synthetic biology. On the flipside, the metaverse will see the virtual world move beyond shopping and socialising to offer education, wellness, creativity and awe-inspiring experiences. With this new mind-expanding realm will come new mind-expanding ideas about what is possible, what is desirable, and what is necessary to make the world safer, fairer, and more sustainable and inclusive for all. In this trend, the immersive qualities of both nature and technology will influence new otherworldly aesthetics, where dreamy digital worlds, twilight landscapes, bioluminescent ocean life and barren Mars-like landscapes all provide inspiration for exciting new designs.
Midnight Soul is a soul that in the form of animals or plants that are active or doint activities during night. Midnight Soul inspired from two micro trend of Men’s Forecast A/W 23/24: NatureVerse namely Night Vision and Shadow Sartorial. The reasons why i choose "Midnight Soul" to my concept is because there is a connection between "Midnight Soul" and trend forecast : NatureVerse which is there is a combination of nature and technology. The nature is from the animals, plants, or phenomenas and the technology is from a tool for recording or taking picture using thermal camera, night vision, etc.
H - Line silhouette is H shaped silhouette which is straight with a slight accent. The reasons why i choose this shape because the shape of night vision binocular that attached on moodboard which is the shape is also H.
The reasons why i choose "Casual Millenial" as my style because of my concept "Midnight Soul" which is doing activities during the night by using something casual and comfortable.
Using natural material such as linen, Cotton Toyobo, Cotton Twill, Cotton Combed, and Oxford that comfortable when it used.
