Parts and Service Director Ben Perry recently announced the addition of Service Advisor Rebecca Speck to the South Pointe Chevrolet service team. Rebecca says, “I am now where I belong and where I want to be. I love my job and the people I work with.” Rebecca says she has always enjoyed cars, even as a young girl. Her first car was a Chevy Chevelle. She and members of her family customized it, making it a high-performance vehicle. “With it came a lot of responsibility,” she said. “Dad made me change my own tires and hoses and keep maintenance records.” Rebecca has been in customer service and in automotive service for the past ten years. “I saw an ad for a service advisor at a used car lot and applied for the job.” She was hired on the spot. “My new boss took a chance with me,” said Rebecca, “but giving me the opportunity worked out for us both.” South Pointe’s Randy
Brooks and Mike Renner serviced the car lot’s vehicles for Rebecca. “They always took time to explain recommended services and taught me a lot.” If you haven’t been to South Pointe Chevrolet for a
