uly 2021: the City of Broken Arrow invites you to the 9th annual “Chalk It Up!” An Art Festival and the 7th annual Broken Arrow Rose Festival. ArtsOK, the Regional Arts Alliance of Broken Arrow’s “Chalk It Up”, an Art Festival and Keep Broken Arrow Beautiful’s Rose Festival, presented by Walmart, is a celebration of our city’s love of the arts and roses. Festivals begin on Friday, October 1 at 5 p.m. as chalk artists begin their creations on the pavement of Main Street, and Rose Festival activities start by welcoming with free Rose Bracelets, Kid Zone (crafts and free kites to decorate for Sunday’s Kite Event) and taking entries for the Rose Show. Enjoy food trucks, art vendors and Inspyral Circus Street Performers performing a light show at 8:30 p.m. This is a family event and is free to the public. It will take place from Commercial to Fort Worth on Main Street in Broken Arrow, right down the middle of the Rose District! “It’s fun to watch the artists develop their amazing artwork”, said Jennifer Deal, Chair of the Chalk It Up Committee! Saturday, October 2, 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. In addition to watching the chalk
artists create their works, enjoy a Rose Festival Art Exhibit at The Museum, a fun Rose Show (bring your roses between 8 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.), rose garden information and free Kid’s Zone with kite decorating and crafts.
