Arpaco Malga Arpaco is situated on the Brocon Pass, midway between the Tesino Valley and the Vanoi and Primiero Valleys. With the milk of the cows they produce fresh and seasonal cheese, tosella, ricotta and yogurt. Malga Arpaco has also rooms and restaurant.

Malga Arpaco si trova nelle vicinanze del Brocon, passo che mette in comunicazione la conca del Tesino con la Valle del Vanoi e il Primiero. Con il latte prodotto dalle mucche di questa malga si producono formaggi freschi e da stagionare, tosella, ricotta e yogurt. Malga Arpaco è anche agritur con camere e ristorante.

Malga Arpaco befindet sich auf dem Brocon-Pass, der die Tesino-Mulde, das Vanoi-Tal und Primiero verbindet. Mit der Milch, die von den Kühen auf dieser Alm produziert wird, stellt man Käsesorten wie tosella, ricotta, aromatische caciotte und Jogurt her. Malga Arpaco verfügt ebenso über Übernachtungsmöglichkeiten und ein Restaurant.

Malga Arpaco bevindt zich op de Brocon pas, die de Tesino Vallei en de Vanoi Vallei en Primiero samen brengt. In deze boerderij is het mogelijk, speciale en traditionele gerechten van Trentino te proeven, zoals gegrijde tosella (kaas) en andere gesmolten kaas, ricotta en kruidige caciotte. Cavallara Located in the nears of Passo Brocon, the cheese farm has been recently finely renovated.

The mouth watering cheese is produced in the new room dedicated to milk processing; its flavor will make you taste the scents of the mountains. The extraordinary variety of flowers in the area made famous the close Trodo dei Fiori (a botanic flower path with an outstanding panorama).

Situata in prossimità del Passo Brocon, questa malga è stata di recente ristrutturata con accortezza e nella nuova sala dedicata alla lavorazione del latte vengono prodotti formaggi prelibati che riportano al palato i profumi dei pascoli d’alta quota. La straordinaria varietà di fiori presenti in zona ha reso infatti famoso anche il vicino Trodo dei Fiori, un sentiero botanico che offre panorami spettacolari.

Die Almhütte befindet sich ganz in der Nähe des Bergpasses Brocon. Sie wurde kürzlich detailgetreu restauriert. Aus der Milch entsteht hier, in ganz neuen Räumen, der wohlschmeckende Käse mit seinem Bergaroma, eine wirkliche Gaumenfreude. Die außerordentliche Blumenvielfalt der Gegend machte den nahen Trodo die Fiori bekannt, einen botanischen Wanderweg mit spektakulären Panoramen.

Gelegen nabij de Passo Brocon, heeft deze hut, onlangs met zorg gerenoveerd, een nieuwe zaal gewijd aan de verwerking van de melk producten. De heerlijke kazen die de tong, de aroma’s van de hoge weilanden laat genieten. De buitengewone verscheidenheid aan bloemen in het gebied heeft het nabijgelegen Trodo dei Fiori, een botanisch pad met een spectaculair uitzicht zeer beroemd gemaakt.

Valfontane Malga Valfontane is one of the nine alpine huts which dot the Brocon Pass. In the modernized dairy called “casara” the farmer Carlo sells butter, fresh and mature cheese, produced following faithfully old recipes.

This hut has the greatest pastures of the Tesino area. From 2008 the Malga Valfontane has also rooms and restaurant.

Malga Valfontane è una delle 9 malghe che punteggiano il Passo Brocon. Nella rinnovata “casara” vengono venduti burro, formaggi freschi e stagionati prodotti seguendo fedelmente metodi e ricette antiche. Questa malga è dotata del più ampio pascolo dell’intero territorio Tesino. Dal 2008 è anche Agritur con camere e ristorante.

Malga Valfontane ist eine der neun Alpenhütten, die auf dem Broconpass liegen. In der rundum erneuerten Käserei verkauft der Farmer Carlo Butter frischen und gereiften Käse, der mit erprobten Methoden und nach antiken Rezepten hergestellt wurde. Diese Hütte verfügt über die größte Alm des gesamten Tesino-Raumes. Ab 2008 verfügt die Almhütte Valfontane ebenso über Übernachtungsmöglichkeiten und ein Restaurant.

Boerderij Valfontane is een van de 9 bergboerderijen die op de Brocon Pas liggen. In de vernieuwde kaasmakerij verkoopt boer Carlo boter, verse kaas en andere produkten die volgens een oude methode gemaakt worden. De boerderij heeft de grootste weiden van het hele Tesino gebied. Vanaf 2008 kan men daar ook overnachten en er is een restaurant.

Malga Casarina conserves the peculiar features of the old alpine huts, like the wood roof and the walls made of stones. The Malga is crossing the Valcampelle Valley easy achievable and also a good restaurant, where locals and tourists can taste the gastronomic specialities of the area.

Malga Casarina conserva ancora le caratteristiche peculiari delle malghe di una volta: si presenta infatti con i muri esterni in pietra e il tetto coperto di “scandole”. Facile da raggiungere attraversando la Val Campelle, Malga Casarina è anche un funzionale agriturismo, dove gustare i piatti tipici della cucina trentina e i formaggi prodotti in malga.

Malga Casarina bewahrt immer noch die charakteristischen Besonderheiten der Alpenhütten vergangener Zeiten: die Außenmauern sind aus Stein und das Dach ist mit Ziegeln aus Holz gedeckt. Die Hütte ist über das Campelle-Tal leicht zu erreichen und hier kann man auch typische Gerichte der trentiner Küche und hausgemachten Käse kosten oder Ferien machen.

Bergboerderij Casarina laat nog altijd de karakterestieke bijzonderheden van de boerderijen van vroeger zien: de buitenmuren zijn van steen en het dak is bedekt met hout. De boerderij is via de Campelle vallei makkelijk te bereiken, men kan hier typische gerechten uit de keuken van Trentino eten en eigen gemaakte kaas. Het is ook mogelijk om hier vakantie te houden.

Valsolero di Sotto Going up through the Calamento Valley along the streets that leads up to the Manghen pass you can find the Malga Valsolero di Sotto. Comfortably couched in the womb of the mountain, right in front of the WWF Oasis, this alpine hut is managed by a lady cheese-maker, Ms Sonia.

Salendo la Val Calamento lungo la strada che porta al Passo Manghen si giunge a Malga Valsolero. Adagiata comodamente nel grembo della montagna di fronte all’Oasi del WWF della Valtrigona, la malga è condotta da una casara donna, la signora Sonia.

Wenn man durch das Calamento-Tal hinauffährt, die Straße, die zum Manghen-Pass führt entlang, kommt man zur Malga Valsolero di Sotto. Sie liegt ganz bequem im Schoß der Bergen, gegenüber der WWF-Oase Valtrigona. Sie wird von einer Frau geführt, Frau Sonia.

Wanneer men door de Calamentovallei de weg neemt richting de Manghen Pas komt men bij de boerderij Valsolero di Sotto. Het ligt in de schoot van de berg, tegenover het WWF Oase Valtrigona. Deze boerderij wordt beheert door een vrouw, Mevrouw Sonia.

To see your cow sometimes you have to move by foot over the wide pastures of this Malga.

Raggiungibile anche in macchina percorrendo una comoda strada panoramica, Malga Trenca offre l’indimenticabile scenario della Valsugana e dei suoi piccoli e caratteristici paesi. I pascoli di questa malga sono così estesi che per vedere la mucca adottata è probabile sia necessario spostarsi a piedi per un bel tratto.

Diese Alpenhütte ist auch mit dem Auto entlang einer bequemen Panoramastraße leicht zu erreichen. Auf diesem Weg kann man einen wundervollen Blick auf das Valsugana und seine kleinen und charakteristischen Dörfer genießen. Um ihre Kuh zu besuchen, müssen Sie teilweise ein gutes Stück zu Fuß auf den weiten Almwiesen dieser Almhütte zurücklegen.

Casapinello Located in the green Val Cavè, Casapinello cheese farm boasts an enchanting location, which reminds of Heidi cartoon landscapes. Recently renovated, the cheese farm hosts many cows of various species, but also pigs, goats and wild horses running in the meadows. The cheese farm is also the ideal rest point where to taste traditional dishes of the local cuisine.

Situata nella verde Val Cavè, Malga Casapinello offre panorami incantati che riportano alla mente Heidi e Peter della TV. Ristrutturata da poco, la malga ospita numerose mucche di razze diverse, ma anche maiali, capre di razza mochena e cavalli che corrono liberi sui pascoli. La malga è anche punto ristoro e propone piatti tipici della tradizione locale.

Die Almhütte Malga Casapinello liegt mitten im grünen Tal Val Cavè. Mit ihren bezaubernden Panoramen erinnert sie an Heidi und Peter aus dem Fernsehen. Die kürzlich renovierte Almhütte beherbergt viele Kühe verschiedener Rassen, aber auch Schweine, Ziegen aus dem Fersental und Pferde, die frei auf den Almwiesen weiden. Die Almhütte ist auch Rastpunkt und bietet typische Gerichte der lokalen Tradition an.

Gelegen in het groen van Val Cavè, biedt Malga Casapinello betoverende landschappen die erg veel lijken op Heidi en Peter van de TV. De onlangs gerenoveerde bergboerderij is de thuisbasis van veel verschillende koeie rassen maar ook varkens, geiten van het ras Mochena en paarden, deze lopen vrij in de weilanden. De bergboerderij is tevens een restaurant waar typische gerechten uit de lokale traditie geserveerd worden.

This cheese-farm is located in a scenic position right across Lagorai mountain chain. The outstanding panorama over Valsugana, the bright Rhododendrons colors, the surrounding beech, larch and fir woods make the location truly unique. Small sized, the cheese-farm has been recently renovated with care and taste. Malga Masi is also an Agritur (rural accommodation) with rooms and restaurants.

Questa malga si trova alle porte del Lagorai ed è immersa in un ambiente naturale d’eccezione. Il panorama spettacolare sulla Valsugana, i colori accesi dei rododendri in fiore, i boschi di faggi, larici e abeti che la circondano la rendono davvero unica.

Di piccole dimensioni è stata di recente ristrutturata con cura e gusto. Questa malga è anche Agritur con camere e ristorante.

Diese Almhütte befindet sich an der Pforte zur Lagorai-Bergkette, in einem außergewöhnlichem natürlichen Ambiente. Der spektakuläre Blick auf das Valsugana, die leuchtenden Farben des blühenden Rhododendron und die nahen Buchen-, Lärchen – und Tannenwälder machen die Almhütte zu einem wirklich einzigartigen Ort. Sie wurde kürzlich mit Liebe zum Detail und geschmackvoll restauriert. Hier besteht gleichzeitig die Möglichkeit für Ferien auf dem Bauernhof, denn es gibt Zimmer und ein Restaurant.

Deze bergboerderij is gelegen aan de poorten van het Lagorai gebied en gelegen in een uitzondelijke natuurlijke omgeving. Het spectaculaire uitzicht op de Valsugana, de heldere kleuren van de rododendrons in bloei, de beuken-, lariks- en sparren bossen eromheen maken het echt uniek. Palù This hut has recently been carefully renovated and the many different animals here provides an interesting and stimulating environment for children.

The hut also acts as a shop and sells products made on site such as the seasonal Vezzena cheese (DOC), plain and flavoured caciotte cheese, butter, ricotta cheese and a special pasta made with Teroldego wine.

Questa malga è stata di recente ristrutturata con accuratezza e la moltitudine di animali presenti rende l’ambiente stimolante e interessante anche per i più piccoli. Nella casetta adibita a spaccio si trovano diversi prodotti di malga come il formaggio Vezzena stagionato DOC, le caciotte semplici o condite con le spezie, il burro, la ricotta e un formaggio particolare a pasta rosa fatto con il vino Teroldego.

Diese Almhütte wurde erst kürzlich detailgetreu renoviert, die unterschiedlichsten Tiere, die hier leben, sorgen für ein angenehmes und besonders für die Kleinsten interessantes Ambiente.

Vor Ort gibt es einen Verkaufsraum. Hier kann man verschiedene Produkte der Almhütte, wie den gereiften Vezzena-Käse, verschiedene Käsesorten mit Kräutern, Butter, Quark und einen besonderen rosafarbenen Käse, der mit dem Wein Teroldego hergestellt wird, erwerben.

Deze boerderij is onlangs met veel zorg gerenoveerd. De dieren maken deze boerderij een interessante en stimulerende omgeving voor kinderen. U kunt in de winkel diverse producten vinden, zoals gerijpte kaas Vezzena, eenvoudige of op smaak gebrachte kazen met kruiden, boter, ricotta en een speciale kaas gemaakt van Teroldego wijn.

Fratte Malga Fratte is situated on the Vezzena plateau, just one kilometre far from the Pass, and hosts more than 100 animals, among cows, calfs, horses, pigs and goats. More than butter and ricotta, in this alpine hut you can buy the famous cheese called “Vezzena” produced with hard milk. You can draw your cheese products from Monday to Friday.

Adagiata sull’altipiano di Vezzena Malga Fratte ospita d’estate più di 100 animali, tra mucche, vitelli, cavalli, maiali, capre, ecc. Oltre a burro e ricotta, in questa malga viene prodotto l’eccezionale Formaggio Vezzena, realizzato con latte crudo e diventato presidio slow food. Il ritiro dei formaggi delle adozioni può essere effettuato dal lunedì al venerdì.

Diese Almhütte liegt auf der Vezzena-Hochebene. Im Sommer weiden hier mehr als hundert Tiere, wie Kühe, Kälber, Pferde, Schweine und Ziegen. Neben dem Ricotte und der Butter produziert man in dieser Hütte auch den schmackhaften Vezzena-Käse, der mit roher Milch hergestellt wird und als slow food gilt. Man kann die Käseprodukte, die einem laut Adoption zustehen, von Montag bis Freitag abholen.

Deze bergboerderij ligt op de hoogvlakte van Vezzena. Boerderij Fratte heeft in de zomer meer dan 100 dieren te gast, zoals koeien, kalveren, paarden en varkens. Behalve boter en ricotta kaas wordt hier een buitengewoon smakelijke Vezzena kaas gemaakt, deze wordt van verse melk gemaakt wordt en geldt als slow food. Men kan de kaas van de geadopteerde koeien, van maandag t/m vrijdag afhalen.

Postesina The huge variety of grass on the Vezzena plateau transfers a pleasant taste to the cheese produced at Malga Postesina.

Besides the famous Vezzena cheese, here you can buy Ricotta, butter and the special Casolet cheese. Malga Postesina is the starting point of different panoramic walks on the Pass and its pastures gives hospitality to over 300 cows.

La ricchezza dei pascoli dell’altopiano del Vezzena conferisce ai formaggi prodotti a Malga Postesina un sapore e un profumo indescrivibili. Oltre al formaggio Vezzena, alla ricotta e al burro, in questa malga viene prodotto il Casolet. Malga Postesina ospita più di 300 mucche sui suoi pascoli.

Der Reichtum der Almwiesen der Vezzena-Hochebene bestimmt den unbeschreiblichen Geschmack und Geruch, der hier auf der Almhütte Postesina produzierten, Käsesorten. Neben dem Vezzenakäse kann man Ricotta, Butter und den speziellen, hier hergestellten, Casolet-Käse kaufen. Die Hütte beherbergt auf ihren Almwiesen mehr als 300 Kühe.

De rijkdom van de weiden op de hoogvlakte van Vezzena wordt toegekend aan de kaas die gemaakt wordt door de boerderij Postesina die een overheerlijke smaak en geur heeft. Behalve de kaas Vezzena, ricotta en boter, wordt in deze boerderij ook de Casolet gemaakt. Bergboerderij Postesina herbergt meer dan 300 koeien op haar weides.

Valcoperta di Sotto Malga Valcoperta is situated on the Marcèsina plateau, a great extension of green fields ideal for relaxing walks.

The hut looks well thanks to the coloured geranium that Ms Patrizia shows all the people who arrive in the huts to buy her cheese.

Malga Valcoperta di Sotto è adagiata nel bel mezzo dell’Altipiano della Marcèsina, un’estensione infinita di verdi pascoli che ben si presta a passeggiate rilassanti. La malga si presenta ingentilita dalla presenza dei gerani coloratissimi che la signora Patrizia orgogliosa mostra a chi arriva in malga per acquistare i suoi prodotti caseari.

Die Alpenhütte Malga Valcoperta befindet sich auf der Marcèsina-Hochebene, einer großen grünen Ebene, die ideal für entspannende Spaziergänge ist. Die Hütte ist besonders schön, denn Frau Patrizia schmückt das Haus mit vielen bunten Geranien, die die Besucher, die in der Hütte Käse kaufen, begrüßen sollen.

De boerderij Valcoperta di Sotto ligt op de Marcesina hoogvlakte, met oneindig uitgestrekte groene weiden, die ideaal zijn voor ontspannende wandelingen.

De boerderij is bijzonder mooi door de gekleurde geraniums die Mevr. Patrizia vol trots laat zien aan de bezoekers die haar kaas kopen.

Le razze

The breeds > Die Rassen > De rassen Le razze autoctone della nostra regione sono la Bruna Alpina, la Grigio Alpina e la Rendena che, pur producendo quantitativi inferiori di latte rispetto a razze di origine straniera, presentano da sempre una maggiore resistenza negli aspri ambienti alpini e danno un latte di alta qualità, ottimo per la caseificazione di formaggi di pregio.

The original breeds in our region are the Bruna Alpina, Grigio Alpina and Rendena which, even they produce less milk than the foreign breeds, resist better the alpine conditions. Furthermore they produce a high quality milk that is ideal for the well-known cheese from our region.

Zu den einheimischen Rassen unserer Region gehören die Bruna Alpina, die Grigio Alpina (Tiroler Grauvieh) und die Kuhrasse Rendena, die im Vergleich zu den ausländischen Kuhrassen weniger Milch produzieren, aber besser im rauhen Alpenklima bestehen und eine qualitativ hochwertige Milch geben, die sich optimal für die Herstellung exzellenter Käsesorten eignet.

De oorspronkelijke rassen uit onze streek zijn de Bruna Alpina, Grigio Alpina en Rendena die, ook al produceren ze minder melk dan de buitenlandse rassen, beter bestand zijn tegen de condities in de bergen. Bovendien produceren ze kwalitatief goede melk die ideaal is voor het maken van de zeer gewaardeerde kazen uit deze regio.

Basta inviare una mail a: adottaunamucca@visitvalsugana.it indicando nome, cognome, recapito telefonico e i dati della mucca adottata. All’atto dell’invio l’APT Valsugana assume il diritto di utilizzare ogni foto inviata e tratterà i dati personali secondo le vigenti norme per la privacy.

Schicke maximal 3 Fotos von dir und deiner Familie, die du während des Ausflugs zur Almhütte, als du dort deine Kuh besucht hast, aufgenommen hast. Die schönsten werden auf unserer Internetseite und in unseren Katalogen veröffentlicht!

Schicke einfach eine E-Mail an: adottaunamucca@visitvalsugana.it und gib deinen Namen, Nachnamen, deine Telefonnummer und die Daten deiner adoptieren Kuh an. Mit der Einsendung der Fotos erhält der Tourismusverband Valsugana automatisch das Recht, die Fotos und die persönlichen Daten im Rahmen des gültigen Gesetzes zum Schutz der Privatsphäre zu nutzen.

Would you like to see your pictures with your adopted cow published??

Send us at most three pictures of you and your family taken during your stay in the alpine hut and the visit to your adopted cow. Some of the pictures will be published on our website and in our catalogues!

Send an e-mail to: adottaunamucca@visitvalsugana.it with you first and last name, phone number and personal data of your adopted cow. Note: only a selection of the pictures can be published. By sending these pictures, you give to the Tourist Board of Valsugana non-exclusive rights to use the material submitted according to the laws of privacy in force.

For each cow adoption 10 euros will be devoted to children charity projects.

Für jede Adoption gehen 10€ an Hilfsprojekte für Kinder.

Voor elke adoptie zal er 10 euro worden besteed aan goede doelen die projecten voor kinderen ondersteunen.

Slow Food

Valsugana e Lagorai I Presìdi Slow Food italiani hanno salvaguardato, dal 1998 ad oggi, 177 formaggi, salumi, razze animali, frutta, ortaggi, dolci e pani di qualità a rischio di estinzione, realizzati ancora da oltre 1300 piccoli produttori artigianali.

In Valsugana grazie alla “Libera Associazione Malghesi e Pastori del Lagorai” alcune malghe hanno aderito ad un protocollo e i loro formaggi hanno ottenuto il Presidio Slow Food.

In Italy, since 1998 Slow Food has been preserving traditional goods produced by local artisans: more than 177 varieties of cheese, cold cuts, animal breeds, fruits, vegetables, desserts and quality breads at risk of extinction have been valorized.

Thanks to the „Lagorai Farmers and Shepards Association“ some of the local cheese farms subscibed a protocol and their products have been recognized as Slow Food goods.

Das italienische Slow Food-Präsidium hat seit 1998 bis heute 177 Käseund Wurstsorten, Tierrassen, Obst, Gemüse, Süßspeisen und Brotwaren geschützt, die vom Aussterben bedroht waren und noch von 1300 kleinen Handwerksbetrieben hergestellt werden.

Im Valsugana nehmen einige Almhütten dank des „Vereins der Almhütten und der Hirten des Lagoraigebietes“ an diesem Protokoll teil, ihre Käsesorten haben auf diese Weise das Zertifikat Slow Food erhalten.

De Italiaanse Presidia Slow Food beschermd sinds 1998 met uitsterven bedreigde diersoorten en kontroleert 177 kazen, vleeswaren, groenten, fruit, gebak en brood op kwaliteit, deze producten worden nog steeds gemaakt door meer dan 1.300 kleine ambachtelijke producenten.

In Valsugana hebben, dankzij de “Vrije Vereniging Veehouders en Herders van de Lagorai”, een aantal bergboerderijen zich hierbij aangesloten en daardoor hebben hun kazen het kwaliteitsmerk van het Slow Food presidium gekregen.
