South Shore Line – a commuter train between Millennium Station in downtown Chicago and the South Bend Airport in South Bend, Indiana. It makes multiple stops between both locations, the closest to Valparaiso, Indiana, being Dune Park Station in Chesterton, Indiana.

ChicaGo Dash – an express commuter bus service from downtown Valparaiso, Indiana, to downtown Chicago. The bus has one stop in Valparaiso, Indiana, and makes multiple stops in Chicago. There are three Chicago stops in the morning, and three Chicago stops in the evening.
