ACCESS COLLEGE

This two-year program begins with pre-college prep and puts you on track to receive your associate of university studies degree, followed by a bachelor's degree if so desired.

EXPLORATORY

Our exploratory studies program will give you a broad introduction to three colleges at Valpo (business, engineering, and arts and sciences) so you can test the waters, find your path, and still gradaute on time!

Tuition and Aid

All undergraduate applicants are eligible for academic scholarship with a GPA of 3.0 or above. For full financial aid consideration, you must file the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) form, preferably by April 15 of your senior year, and include Valpo’s school code: 001842. Cost of Attendance 2024–2025

• TUITION AND FEES: $48,450

• ON-CAMPUS ROOM/MEALS: $13,618

• TOTAL DIRECT CHARGES: $62,068

Freshman Scholarships

Students earning below a 3.0 GPA may also be eligible for gift aid from Valparaiso University upon admission. Add Valpo's school code (008142) to your FAFSA form to maximize your scholarship consideration!

Transfer Scholarships

Scholarships for transfer students range from $22,000 - $25,000 depending on transferable GPA. Additional transfer scholarships for Phi Theta Kappa, associate’s degree completion, and other partnerships range from $1,000 - $4,000.

Application Tips and Requirements

TO APPLY:

• File our online application at valpo.edu/apply.

• Apply via CommonApp at commonapp.org/explore/valparaiso-university.

WHAT DO I NEED?

• Have your school counselor or registrar’s office send your official high school or college transcripts to our admission office.

• Valpo is test optional and does not require you to submit SAT or ACT scores; however, if you would like your scores to be considered, please indicate this on your application and send your scores to Valpo.

• Have you taken Advanced Placement, International Baccalaureate, or other college-level tests? Send us those scores, too.

• NO application fee or essay required!

DEADLINE:

• Students who apply by May 1 are promised full consideration for admission, academic scholarships, and financial aid.
