EDVIN RIVAS, conocido en el ámbito artístico como Ed Hanzo, abrió su estudio de tatuajes privado en 2022, donde paulatinamente ha ido ganando reconocimiento y admiración como tatuador independiente por su habilidad y enfoque personalizado. “Este concepto me ha funcionado muy bien debido al tipo de clientes que tengo. Aunque me enfoco en realizar piezas grandes, las pequeñas se las hago únicamente a mis amigos o conocidos. La gente realmente me busca para hacer mangas enteras, espaldas o piernas”.

Enfoque Íntimo y Personalizado

Esta preferencia por los tatuajes de gran escala ha llevado a Hanzo a adoptar un enfoque más íntimo y personalizado en su trabajo. “Antes de cada sesión, cito a mis clientes unos días antes para discutir la idea, buscar referencias y brindarles toda mi atención. This has helped independent tattoo artists gain so much acceptance today. Undoubtably, much of this is also due to content that’s uploaded to social media networks, which has made many of the myths that formerly revolved around this body art, practically a thing of the past."

Finalmente, Hanzo comparte una reflexión sobre la evolución personal que ha experimentado en el arte del tatuaje desde que comenzó su trayectoria en 2013: “Me sorprende gratamente ver que cada vez es más frecuente conocer gente mejor informada sobre el estilo o tatuaje que busca realizarse. Esto ha propiciado que el concepto del tatuador independiente haya ganado tanta aceptación actualmente. Por otro lado, es indudable que mucho de esto se debe al contenido que se sube a las redes sociales, lo cual ha hecho que muchos de los mitos que antiguamente giraban en torno a este arte corporal, ya prácticamente sean cosa del pasado”.
