vibikei is a multidisciplinary designer, specialized on visual identities, art direction and UX/UI design. She thrives on concept focused projects where she can make use of her knowledge from various disciplines. She has special interest in fashion, cultural, music industry and editorial projects.

On her free time, she can get creepy touching magazines and books. She loves fashion (it’s becoming a problem), food, films, live music and doggos (like A LOT). Hustling in grey Berlin, looking for global meaningful projects to be involved in.

SKATEBOARD

SKATEBOARD is an exhibition centered around the history of skateboarding and the skateboard as an object.

A concept lead, developed and designed by Apartamento Studios with museum curators and Jonathan Olivares, the external curator and author of the book “SKATEBOARD” (published by Phaidon).

SKATEBOARD

SKATEBOARD is an authoritative chronicle of the history and evolution of skateboard design from 1950 to the present day.

A layout lead, developed and designed by Apartamento Studios next to Jonathan Olivares, the author of the book, published by Phaidon.

FLOWERS

Flowers was an exhibition and event in collaboration with an artist, Felix Rank, resulting in a highly acclaimed event at our Apartamento Studios (Berlin) Space.

The event was sponsored by Bouche and Edel & Faul. There were products (coloring book, social media posts, coolers & stationary) curated for the event as well as an interview with the artist for Apartamento Magazine.

I was in charge of art direction of said products as well as all the production of these.

RUTI

Ruti was founded in 2009 inspired by this concept: “We’ve always been told that beauty hurts - that we must give up comfort in the name of style and compromise sophistication for whatever is fashionable”. Ruti changed that.

Working with Ark Visual, we redesigned this E-commerce. Ruti came to us with a desire to simplify and make their site more e cient. Reflecting their core values of a one season wardrobe, with long-lasting items, with the mission to empower women.

ROON

Roon is a second hand clothing app. The purpose of this app is not only to sell and buy products and make some profit but to give second chances to once loved pieces, make fashion circular and create a community of people who love fashion and care about the environment.

I wanted ROON to be a community, which is why the users can link their profiles to their social media, making new friends along the way and seeing how they style their newest purchases.

LA MANDORLA

La Mandorla is as study on female sexuality and sexual education. The main focus is on the body. The representation of it through out history. The result of this research was a fanzine with various volumes.

The almond tree is the first tree to flower in the year. It is a symbol of life and fertility. Mandorla means almond in Italian. It can be found around sacred figures, but, as my research found it, it has so many other symbolisms.

LA MANDORLA

La Mandorla is the result of a week long (intense) editorial course at RCA. After working on this topic for so long during my thesis, my close circle and myself started seeing this shape (La Mandorla) everywhere. To a regular person, it might look as if she was just seeing random objects, but her subconscious related it all back to this concept.

Underneath the layers of critical-thought functions of the conscious mind lays a powerful awareness that it is called the subconscious mind. This one obeys and the first one commands.

BCNOMAD

Barcelona is a city in which the idea of “local” changes even for their citizens. BCNOMAD is a service is to show the multiculturalism that lives in this city and their inhabitants.

It calls people to get to know the di erent versions of the city through the lenses of other nationalities: their habits, gastronomy, routine and the places they frequently go to.

The intent of this new service is to change the perception of what a contemporary city encapsulates for the visitors as well as their citizens.

UNTITLED

Untitled is a speculative team project where graphic and product design collided, creating a new world we a set of rules. We used UV light inks and di erent printing techniques, photographed our class mates and created (with hidden characters) a new language. As a result, we created a cohesive yet experimental visual identity.

The year is 2050. In our society, the main focus of entertainment is based on the morbid curiosity of tearing people down in public, just for the sake of it. It is a modern take on the Roman Colosseum. The building and concept is an inverse pan-optic prison. Each game is recorded with their confessions and one with the right tool can unlock them.
