Scholarships will be granted to local students pursuing post-high school education at vocational and/or trade schools, certification programs, community colleges, and traditional colleges.

Business Sponsors will be recognized community-wide for their investment and support.

Student and Award Criteria

The scholarship program seeks candidates continuing or re-entering higher education or a certification course. Candidates must provide proof of a high school diploma or equivalent. No GPA minimum is required.

Recipients must live or work in Vacaville.

Applications will be accepted in the Fall and then reviewed by a panel who will interview and select the recipients. Scholarships totaling $500 to $2,500 will be awarded for eligible educational expenses based on need and funding.

Scholarship Contribution Levels

Presenting Sponsor - $1,000+

Business logo and web link on application, website, e-blast, and social media

Business logo on the certificate, an invitation to the awards reception, and the opportunity to present the award to the recipient

Industry Sponsor - $500

Business logo and web link on application, website, e-blast, and social media

An invitation to the awards reception

Community Sponsor - $250

Business listed on the application, website, e-blast, and social media

Educational Sponsor - $100

Business listed on the application and website
