In this project,I surveyed and experienced a banana field, a peaceful small canal which located by the site.

So I tried put those positive atmospheres of the site into co-housing building type for 4 close related famlilies.

My method was to use a form of the banana leaves integrated with the analysis about profit to residential functions in the program.

Sections and 1st floor plan

Tha Tien is a famous old-town marketing district which has diversity of people and activities but there is an unique typology of architecture which had an influence from sino-european style.

So I had an intention to redesign these elements of sino-european architecture, integrated with modern design and put it in this hostel project to blend with the context as shown on the curve-arch facade and a kind of arcade space at the court.

Study models about how to manage 3 types of circulation together

Bring the bike lane into the community mall (black lines)

There is a proposition in this program about several type of users such as pedestrian, driver and biker. Firstly I visited this site under Saphan Taksin and I found groups of bicycle users around the site, their purpose of cycling around here is to have an exercise and the another is to come fishing under the bridge.

So I used these potentials between site and the program, research about requirements of cycling spaces to create a new experience of shopping that they can ride their bike all around the community mall and will not be crossed with other users.

Ratchada is one of a high density district, this site located along the main road. I had an experiment to bring people’s circulation into the site gradually.

I started with the analysis about art contents that I had an consultation from my friend about artworks space requirement and then analyse about purpose for coming art gallery nowadays.

For the design I used a wide long ramp to seperate the building in to two that differently have requirement of functions, loading area and how to operate public and private zone in the project.

In this project we worked in a pair, we discussed about the program. It was a kind of mixed use between auditorium and convention hall function building.

We designed by having an experiment about working together of each auditoriums so we used the method as a infiltration that create an co-service path and new perception in the hall.

We designed the main curve mass, defined it as the convention hall function, and then infiltrated 2 more masses defined as auditoriums and create spread the services from the intersection of 3 masses.

06 BKKDW2019

Responsibility - Community survey and reseach - Community workshop creator - Pad thai street food (lighting installation) - Conceal panel in front of community restroom

Trawell is a FB page which creates online contents about guiding bangkokian to travel inside bangkok.They initiated this workshop for BKKDW2019.

We participated as a team of junior designer and being coached to create a catalyse project for the community to improve their street food marketing.

After the researching and analysis process we had 2 installations in our duty. First is the lighting installation for Pad Thai kiosk which located at the begining of the community street. We used the Isalamic pattern to create ‘Tub Si’ (one of isalamic foodwear) that painted by children in the community.

And the second one is to solve perspective problem in front of public toilet which too directly access to the street.

So we designed a simple metal panel and let people in the comunnity hang their plants on it to conceal the toilet.

I had a chance being a project leader to set the purpose of renovation and developing Klong Bangluang community.

After researching and choosing places to install with professor Supitcha and Shma ,Shma Soen team. We seperated into 3 small groups for Boat dock Garden and Signage.

I’m also in the boat dock design team that we renovated all of the dock by painting, crafting chess table for people in the community, recreating hanging mobile from used bamboo around the site, building information board about the canal and the main boat dock new structure which also contain seating to utilize the space practically.

08 New World Old Town

This exhibition is a part of Arch SU Fest which exhibit design projects which have programs about New World Department store and Banglamphu district from student at Faculty of Architecture, Silpakorn University and present interesting contents about Banglamphu to improve their marketing after the COVID situation.

My interest about Banglamphu is the transformation from mobile kiosk to the temporary street retail.

09 Khaosan Hide and Seek

The second event of Arch SU Fest but this one has purpose to recover the economy of the main Khaosan street after the COVID situation that we had a support from Buddy group and Gaysorn Lamphu.

We created a content about 15 things being unseen along the street, expressed them in the form of online content and lighting installations with 8 designer teams.
