SPEAKERS CAPT Keith Hoskins, USN (Ret.) SVP Greater Pensacola, Navy Federal Credit Union Keith Hoskins is Senior Vice President of Greater Pensacola for Navy Federal Credit Union. He is responsible for leading the day-today operations of over 8,500 team members located on the Brian L. McDonnell campus in Pensacola, Florida.

Keith joined the Navy Federal team in April of 2019. Prior to his current leadership role, he was the Western District General Manager/Military Affairs Manager for Gulf Power Company, overseeing and directing all operations for Escambia and Santa Rosa counties.

Keith served 27 distinguished years in the United States Navy, retiring at the rank of Captain. Two of Keith’s many assignments during his naval career included serving as a F-18 pilot on the Blue Angels flight demonstration team and as Commanding Officer for Naval Air Station Pensacola, where he provided leadership and oversight for over 25,000 military and civilian personnel. Under Keith’s leadership in 2015, President Barack Obama awarded NAS Pensacola the Commander in Chief’s Installation Excellence Award.

Keith is a native of Parkville, MO. He is a graduate from Missouri Western State University with a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering Technology, where he attended on both an academic and football scholarship. Keith received his master’s degree from the Industrial College of the Armed Forces.

Keith is a dedicated community leader. In August 2019, Governor Ron DeSantis appointed Keith to the board of the Florida Defense Support Task Force. He also serves on the Achieve Escambia Leadership Council, Gulf Coast Kid’s House Executive Board, and the Naval Aviation Museum Foundation Board of Trustees.

Keith and his wife, Lori, are proud parents of three children. His hobbies include golfing, traveling, and watching Kansas City Chiefs football games.

SPEAKERS CAPT Greg McWherter, USN (Ret.) Client Aviation Manager, Solairus Aviation Greg McWherter is a native of Atlanta, GA. He is a 1990 graduate of The Citadel, where he played NCAA Division 1 soccer for the Bulldogs. Greg received his commission through the Navy ROTC program in May 1990 and earned his Navy Wings of Gold in September 1992.

As an FA-18 Hornet pilot, Greg completed multiple deployments to the Mediterranean Sea and Persian Gulf aboard USS George Washington (CVN-73) from 1993 to 1997 and again from 2000 to 2003.

During those tours, he graduated from the United States Fighter Weapons School (TOPGUN) in 1995, received Pilot of the Year honors in 1996, and was selected by his peers to receive the 2003 Naval Air Forces Leadership Award.

Greg returned to TOPGUN as an Instructor in 1997 and served as the Navy’s Subject Matter Expert on short-range missiles, Cueing Systems, and Air-toAir Employment. His other shore-based jobs included tours at the US Joint Forces Command (Norfolk, VA) as Branch Chief for Joint Close Air Support, the Naval Service Training Command (Pensacola, FL) as the Director of Officer Development, and Naval Base Coronado (San Diego, CA) as the Executive Officer.

As commanding officer, Greg led VFA-192 (Atsugi, Japan) through three major far east deployments aboard USS Kitty Hawk (CV-63) from 2006 to 2008.

He then served as the Commanding Officer and Flight Leader of the Blue Angels, from November 2008 until November 2010 and again from May 2011 until November 2012. He was awarded the International Council of Air Shows leadership award in 2012.

Greg retired from Active Duty in 2015. He joined Solairus Aviation as a Client Aviation Manager and currently leads a private international flight department consisting of multiple Gulfstream aircraft and personnel based around the country.

Greg has a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from the Citadel, a degree in military studies from the Naval War College, and a Master of Business Administration from Washington State University. He holds multiple professional aviation ratings and has accumulated over 9,000 flight hours and 960 carrier arrested landings.

CDR Frank Weisser USN Blue Angel Super Hornet Transition Officer Commander Frank J. Weisser is a native of Atlanta, Georgia and graduated from North Springs High School in 1996 where he lettered in football and track. He attended the United States Naval Academy, earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics in 2000, and was commissioned as an Ensign in the U.S. Navy.

Frank reported to Naval Air Station (NAS) Pensacola, Florida for aviation indoctrination in October 2000 and received his wings of gold in November 2002.

Frank remained with Training Squadron 7 (VT-7) as an Instructor Pilot in the T-45C as a Selectively Retained Graduate (SERGRAD).

Frank reported to Strike Fighter Squadron 87 (VFA-87), the “War Party,� in April 2005 where he deployed aboard the USS Theodore Roosevelt (CVN 71) in August 2005. During this deployment, Frank flew 34 combat missions over Iraq in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom.

Frank joined the Blue Angels in September 2007. He served as the Narrator and VIP Pilot in 2008, Opposing Solo pilot and NATOPS Officer in 2009 and as the Lead Solo pilot and Operations Officer in 2010. While assigned to the Blue Angels, he earned a Master's Degree in Systems Analysis from the Naval Postgraduate School in September 2009.

Frank returned to the fleet in February 2011 as a Department Head for Strike Fighter Squadron 97 (VFA-97), the "Warhawks," and completed two deployments to the Western Pacific/Arabian Gulf aboard USS John C. Stennis (CVN 74) in support of Operations New Dawn and Enduring Freedom.

Following his Department Head tour, Frank reported to the NATO School in Oberammergau, Germany in December 2013 where he oversaw all NATO School training activities throughout the world, while personally conducting training in Ethiopia, Ukraine, Germany and France.

Frank rejoined the Blue Angels in July of 2016 where he served again as the Opposing Solo Pilot in 2016 and the Lead Solo Pilot and Operations Officer in 2017. Following the completion of the 2017 season, Frank remained in Pensacola to assist the Naval Aviation Enterprise with the Blue Angel Transition from the Legacy F/A18 A-D to the F/A-18 E/F Super Hornet.

He has accumulated more than 5000 flight hours and over 400 carrier arrested landings. His decorations include the Defense Meritorious Service Medal, two Meritorious Service Medals, 3 Strike Flight Air Medals, two Navy Commendation Medals, and various personal and unit awards.

Captain Kevin Miller graduated from the University of Mississippi and earned his gold wings in 1983. He flew the FA-18C Hornet operationally and commanded in combat. He finished his career on the staff of the Secretary of the Navy, retiring in 2005 with over 3,600 flight hours and 1,000 carrier landings. His decorations include the Bronze Star, the Air Medal (with combat “V�), and two strike-flight Air Medals. He earned Masters Degrees from Florida State University and the Naval War

Kevin was an associate at two Washington DC defense consulting firms, and was the Executive Vice-President of the Naval Aviation Museum Foundation. Today he is a self-employed defense consultant, speaker, and the Amazon Bestselling author of the military techno-thrillers Raven One, Declared Hostile and Fight Fight. His newest, The Silver Waterfall, was released last spring.

Kevin lives in Pensacola, Florida with his wife Terry.
