Place your order by donating online, or fill out the donation form included in your envelope. Then mail it with your credit card information or check made out to UWDOR.
An acknowledgment card lets a loved one know that you made a gift to United Way in their honor.
CHILDHOOD LITERACY
$30 BOOKS
Children’s literacy is a cornerstone for future success. It lays the foundation for future learning, communication skills, and critical thinking. Early exposure to books and stories helps children build vocabulary, understand the world around them, and develop a love for reading. A $30 donation will buy 12 books for a child in our community.
$50 NUTRITION CLASSES
Obesity rates in children have tripled over the last three decades. Donating to a monthly nutrition class can significantly benefit our community by promoting health and wellbeing. These classes provide valuable education on healthy eating habits, the importance of balanced diets and the nutritional value of different foods. By supporting nutrition programs, we can empower individuals to make informed choices about their food intake, reduce the prevalence of dietrelated health issues and create a healthier community overall.
