STRATEGIC GOAL 2: Faculty and Staff

We strive to ensure our faculty and staff focus on their passions and genuinely feel valued and balanced so that energy spills into the hallways of Collins College. Actions to enhance the faculty and staff experience include:

• Supporting incentives to regularly update curriculum and teaching methods for relevancy, rigor, and innovation.

• Supporting our faculty in their research and rewarding faculty who are published in high-quality journals.

• Clearly communicating expectations, opportunities and responsibilities of faculty and staff.

• Continually updating and communicating college and academic unit promotion and tenure policies, procedures, and benchmarks.

• Committing to recruiting diverse, qualified, and exceptional faculty and staff.

STRATEGIC GOAL 3: Business and Community Engagement

We are grateful to have an active alumni and business community who engage with and support Collins College. Their confidence in the education we provide ensures they seek our graduates for employment. Actions to enhance business and community engagement include:

• Initiating community and business leaders serving as mentors to our students.

• Promoting Executive Advisory Board members as integral in developing relationships that lead to internships and jobs for our students.

• Striving to increase financial support from alumni and stakeholders to grow faculty support and student experiences.
