LONGHORN FAMILY,
What a time it is to be a Texas Longhorn! In our inaugural season as members of the Southeastern Conference, we’ve grabbed our new conference by the horns and carried the pride and winning tradition of The University of Texas along the way. Across the board, our student-athletes are getting it done as we’ve secured the LEARFIELD Directors’ Cup three times in the last four years and secured the Capital One Cup as the most successful women’s sports program in each of the last three years. Not only are our Longhorns taking care of business on the field of competition, but they’re also getting it done in the classroom. This past year, 127 Texas studentathletes walked the stage and will forever be beneficiaries of having earned a degree from The University of Texas. I could not be prouder of our student-athletes in all our programs and am so grateful for your generosity as a Longhorn Foundation donor that truly leaves a lasting impact.
Your Longhorn Foundation membership helps us provide world-class resources for over 550 Texas student-athletes competing in 21 varsity sports here on the Forty Acres. When you give to the Longhorn Foundation, you directly contribute to the lives of our student-athletes through needs like scholarships, nutrition, academic support, travel, and athletic training. Longhorn Foundation donors are integral to the success of our University, and the combined support of Longhorns everywhere means that a United Texas is a reckoning. Every day we are making efforts to build champions on and off the field of competition, and develop student-athletes that epitomize our school’s mantra of “What Starts Here Changes the World.” They are doing just that and when that tower is lit, please know that it signifies your unwavering support of Texas student-athletes. Y’all are the absolute best and we’re beyond thankful for your never-ending support.
Let’s keep those Horns Up and Hook ‘Em!

Vice President and Folger Family Athletics Director

What is THE LONGHORN FOUNDATION?

Founded in 1986 by DeLoss Dodds, the Longhorn Foundation is the official fundraising arm of Texas Athletics. Through the generosity of Longhorn Foundation members, Texas Athletics annually supports the educational and competitive pursuits of more than 550 student-athletes. Our mission is to prepare students to win with integrity—in academics, in
WHY GIVE?
In the 2023-24 year, Longhorn Foundation donors contributed more than $74.4 million to the annual fund. Of that, more than $13 million was designated to Longhorn Excellence. The University of Texas is the first university in Texas to raise over $1 billion for student-athlete support. Longhorn Excellence donations help fund education, nutrition, recruiting, travel, sports medicine, facilities maintenance, and more.

I love the opportunity that we have here and it’s crazy how much of a difference (Texas and the Longhorn Foundation) can make in someone’s life.”

A Few DONOR SCENARIOS . . .
Becoming a New Season Ticket Holder
Hook Em wants to become a season ticket holder for Texas Football.
To do this, he would need to join the 2025 Texas Football Waitlist. Fans must be Longhorn Foundation donors, so he would need to make a minimum $50 annual gift by the football season ticket deadline (March 26, 2025) to be eligible for the opportunity to receive a timeslot for the online seat and parking selection process.
Upgrading Membership Level
Bevo is a current season ticket holder and a Longhorn Foundation member at the Icon level. With postseason games around the corner, he wants to make an additional donation so that he can request SEC Championship and CFP tickets. He would need to make a donation to Longhorn Excellence that totals $1,500 in combination with his previous donations.
Becoming Eligible for Parking
Smokey is interested in purchasing a parking pass to go along with his football season tickets. To do this, he would need to ensure that the total for his football seat gifts, baseball seat gifts, and Longhorn Excellence gifts total more than $200 to purchase one pass. Questions?

What is the DeLoss Dodds Leadership Team (DDLT)?
Named after DeLoss Dodds, who served The University of Texas for more than three decades and helped to build the Texas Longhorns into a brand of prominence, DDLT is the premier annual fund membership program of Texas Athletics, and is crucial to maintaining the standard of excellence on an annual basis.
Impact
Gifts from DDLT memberships support over 40% of funding for the world-class education and sport specific services that enable our student-athletes to win in competition and in life.
How to Join
Membership is determined by the combination of any seat-related gifts tied to season tickets and Longhorn Excellence gifts. Making an additional 100% tax-deductible gift to Longhorn Excellence is the easiest way to reach or upgrade to a DDLT level.
Benefits
DDLT membership results in a higher Loyalty Points rank which gives access to priority seat and parking selection times, preference for high-demand game ticket requests (postseason and away games), and increased ticket limits for the Allstate Red River Rivalry game. Members also receive exclusive engagement opportunities with Texas student-athletes, coaches, and staff. DDLT members are invited to exclusive events, bi-yearly DDLT weekend functions, away game opportunities, and more!

“ “
The amazing generosity of DDLT members allows our student-athletes to dream big and achieve at the highest level in the classroom and in competition. Their successes are a result of the resources you help us to provide, and they know you make it possible. ‘
– Chris Del Conte, Vice President and Folger Family Athletics Director

A Few DONOR SCENERIOS . . .
Current Season Ticket Holder
Longhorn has six seats in the Touchdown Club, and his total seat gift is $18,000. He would like to request six postseason tickets for his friends and family. To do so, Longhorn would need to make a $7,000 Longhorn Excellence gift and call the Longhorn Foundation office to request his additional tickets before the stated deadline.
Prospective Season Ticket Holder
Spur would like to become a season ticket holder in the lower deck to sit with her friend Bevo, and she is currently on the waitlist. To have access to priority seat and parking selection, Spur would need to donate $25,000 to Longhorn Excellence by March 26, 2025.

What is the United Texas Circle (UTC)?
The United Texas Circle was established in April 2023 to recognize donors whose multi-year commitments go above and beyond their seat-related giving. These gifts expand the tools and resources for Texas Longhorns student-athletes to grow as people, develop as leaders, and succeed as competitors.
Why Should I Give More?
A financial commitment to UTC provides the highest level of impact for the 550+ Texas student-athletes competing for the Burnt Orange & White. Your gift will have a profound impact on the lives of Longhorn student-athletes. It will provide resources for academic development, as well as ensuring that our teams have the tools and facilities they need to compete at the highest level.
With your support, we can continue to build on the culture of excellence that surrounds the Forty Acres. Investments received today will pay dividends on the future of Texas Athletics’ pursuit of championships.
How Much Should I Give?
To be part of the United Texas Circle, donors must pledge a minimum of $20,000 a year (above and beyond seat-related gifts) for five years. As a UTC member, you’ll have access to exclusive opportunities and unique Texas Athletics experiences. In order to begin receiving benefits, a signed gift agreement and payment of 20% of the total commitment must be received. Pledged membership level can be paid over a five-year period and membership is good for all five years.

Texas Athletics is entirely self-supporting, meaning that all private donations directly benefit the needs of student-athletes, coaches, and staff. There is no state funding or support from student fees allocated to the Athletics Department. By donating to the Longhorn Foundation, loyal alumni, fans, and friends can provide financial support to Texas Athletics with the option of receiving tax benefits. Contributions to the Longhorn Foundation benefit student-athletes in every sports program by providing scholarships, maintaining and constructing facilities, and funding programs that enhance academic, athletic, and life skills. ImportantCOMPLIANCE INFORMATION

Boosters play a role in providing student-athletes with a positive experience through their enthusiastic efforts. They can support teams and athletics departments through donations of time and financial resources which help student-athletes succeed on and off the playing field.
What is a Booster?
Under NCAA rules, a representative of the institution’s athletics interests (“booster”) is any individual, independent agency, corporate entity or any other organization that has:
• Made any type of contribution to the Texas Athletics Department or athletics booster organization. This includes providing a donation in order to obtain season tickets
• Joined a Texas booster club or any sport-specific support group
• Provided benefits to a prospective or enrolled student-athlete
• Participated as a varsity athlete at the University of Texas at Austin
• Is the parent or legal guardian of an enrolled student-athlete
• Promoted the T program in any way.
Once an individual is identified as a booster, they retain that identity forever.
As a Booster you CANNOT
• Participate in the recruitment process for Texas prospective student-athletes, including making contact or communicating with a prospect (9th grade and above/7th grade for men’s basketball and softball)
• Provide a prospective or current student-athlete and/or families with an extra benefit (i.e. any gift or arrangement provided to a student-athlete, prospect, and/or their families that is not available to the general student population). Examples of extra benefits are loans, money, co-signing a note, use of an automobile, tickets, clothing, use of a credit card, meals, etc.
• Serve as a “sponsor” for a student-athlete or prospect or their family
It is permissible for a booster to employ a studentathlete as long as they are paid the going rate for work actually performed. Contact the Compliance Office for pre-approval before beginning employement.

Ask Before You Act
As a member of the NCAA, the University of Texas at Austin is responsible for the actions of its coaches, student-athletes, faculty and staff, alumni, donors, boosters and friends. Boosters involved in NCAA violations may lose benefits and privileges associated with the athletic program (e.g. ticket privileges or priority seating).
Always
remember
to ASK BEFORE YOU ACT.
Name, Image, and Likeness (NIL)
The NCAA recently adopted updated rules and regulations which granted student-athletes the ability to receive compensation from sources outside their institution for the use of their name, image, and likeness (NIL). Texas student-athletes may now earn compensation from sources outside of UT Austin as a result of NIL rule changes - subject to institutional policies and applicable state law.
Texas boosters may participate in NIL activities involving student- athletes, provided they adhere to NCAA extra benefit legislation. NCAA pay-for-play and extra benefit rules to continue to apply in the NIL environment. Therefore, student-athletes may not receive compensation or accept a promise of compensation for participation in their sport (e.g., may not receive compensation unrelated to a legitimate NIL or employment activity). Prior to engaging in any NIL activity with a current Texas student-athlete, you must notify the Texas Athletics Compliance office your intention to do so.
Note: As states by the NCAA, third-party NIL groups or businesses often referred to as “collectives” and those individuals associated with them, are defined as Boosters. As such collectives or those associated with collectives cannot be involved in the recruiting process of prospective student-athletes. Boosters also cannot guarantee NIL deals for prospective student-athletes or use them as a recruiting inducement. Texas Athletics staff and coaches cannot be involved in any aspect of a collective’s operation, nor can they be involved in securing NIL deals for current or prospective studentathletes. For questions regarding NCAA compliance, please reach out to the Texas Athletics Compliance Office at (512) 471-7285 or compliance@athletics. utexas.edu
