AND Present documented evidence; awards and other certificates on extra curricular achievements.

2. UTAR Sport/Talent Scholarships The UTAR Sport/Talent Scholarships are available to reward new and currently enrolled students pursuing Foundation or full-time Undergraduate degree programmes degree programmes and who have a proven track record of excellence in sport/artistic talent at national or international level.

3. Other Financial Aid There are other internal and external scholarships and student loans available for needy students. More details, please refer to deas.utar.edu.my.

4. KOJADI Education Loan The KOJADI Education Loan Scheme for Universiti Tunku Abdul Rahman (S-UTAR) is designed and implemented in 2002 for Kojadi member-students who wish to pursue full-time or part-time programmes at UTAR. For more details, please refer to www.kojadi.my

5. PTPTN Loan Perbadanan Tabung Pendidikan Tinggi Nasional (PTPTN) offers loans to qualified applicants who are pursuing full-time Undergraduate degree programmes.

Students who do not fulfil the English Language requirements need to enrol and pass the English Enhancement Programme (EEP) as a prerequisite before pursuing the selected Foundation/ Undergraduate degree programme. The EEP is offered by UTAR Centre for Extension Education at both UTAR campuses.

If an academic qualification is FULLY delivered in English Language, Specific English Language score is exempted for admission into the following programmes except M.B.B.S.:

Alternative entry mode - APEL (A)

Application of Admission

UTAR welcomes applicant who do not possess entry qualification as the above. Alternatively student can apply to our programme by using the Accreditation of Prior Experiential Learning (APEL). APEL Programme provides an opportunity for individuals with working experience but lack of formal academic qualifications to pursue their studies in Higher Education Institutions (HEIs). It grants access to a field of study at HEIs, by assessing a person’s life and work experience.
