Sears Art Museum

The UT Sears Art Museum and Gallery located in the Dolores Doré Eccles Fine Arts Center on the Utah Tech University campus features a number of exhibits each year, offering a variety of art styles—from traditional to contemporary—for the enjoyment and education of UT students and the community. Come make a meaningful connection with art.

The Utah Tech University Sears Art Museum has been a part of the University since 2004, thanks to our generous donors, Robert N. & Peggy Sears. This beautiful space hosts the Annual Sears Invitational Art Show and Sale, a popular regional exhibit featuring a vast collection of art from regional artists. The University also owns a significant permanent collection. Tours for community groups and educational tours for public school groups may be arranged by calling 435-652-7909.

The DOCUTAH International Film Festival at Utah Tech University brings together filmmakers and film lovers for an electric weekend celebrating the art of documentary, seeking to open hearts and minds to the world through beautifully crafted stories on film, promoting education while creating an atmosphere of camaraderie and community.

DOCUTAH brings the best documentaries from around the world to the red canyons of southern Utah. In addition to film premieres and screenings, national, international and local filmmakers in attendance offer festival patrons engaging discussion at the DOCTalks forum and provide students with professional master class opportunities.
