It was also his 19th birthday. • Averaged an impressive 25.6 points during his senior season at Knoxville’s Austin-East High School. • Had three double-doubles during his senior season (points and rebounds). • Scored a career-best 45 points in a 61-51 victory over Fulton High School. • AEHS also produced Tennessee 1,000-point scorer and all-time games-played leader Rob Jones (1983-86). • Posted an impressive 3.9 GPA in high school. • Was a summer ball teammate of fellow Vols freshman Galen Campbell for three years. • Lives with fellow freshman guard Quinton Chievous.
