Ivy Renfroe was the ace last year for Tennessee, which finished tied for third place in the Women's College World Series. She pitched 15 complete games in 39 starts on her way to a 31-6 record. This year she has just five complete games in 16 starts, but two of have come in the past week. This year, the Lady Vols have leaned on Ellen Renfroe. She leads the rotation with a 1482<0x2044>3 innings, a 21-2 record, a 1.18 earnedrun average and 15 complete games in 20 starts. Ellen Renfroe was named SEC Pitcher of the Week for the second time Monday. She's also collected two SEC Freshman of the Week awards. "We're motivated by each other," said Ivy Renfroe. "She works hard, I want to work hard." Added Ellen Renfroe: "It's not really a competition." Weekly Honor: Weekly will be recognized before UT's home game at 7 against Mississippi State on Thursday for recently getting his 1000th career win.
