Do It Dooley! The University of Tennessee introduced Derek Dooley as the 22nd head coach on Friday, January 15th. Dooley, 41, comes to the Vols after three seasons as head coach at Louisiana Tech, where he also served as athletics director since March 2008. Dooley compiled a 17-20 overall record in three seasons with the Bulldogs, including an 8-5 mark in 2008 that was highlighted by the school's first bowl game and bowl victory in 30 years at the Independence Bowl. For his efforts, the Louisiana Sports Writers' Association named him Coach of the Year.

Football Recruiting Celebrations The University of Tennessee Athletics Department will host football recruiting celebrations across the state on Thursday, February 4th. Join us as Head Coach Derek Dooley and members of the football coaching staff will be traveling the state to talk about the 2010 football signing class and show video highlights of each signee. NCAA Basketball Ticket Information The NCAA Men’s and Women’s Basketball tournament is fast-approaching! The Tennessee Athletic Department has a limited number of tickets for each tournament and all tickets will be assigned based on rank. If you are interested in purchasing tickets to the NCAA Basketball tournament, visit www.uttix.com. From February 15—March 16, you may pre-request priority tickets to the Vol and Lady Vol Regional and Final Four NCAA games.
