陳其澎 教 授 中原大學 USR 計畫主持人 Professor Chie-Peng Chen Professor of CYCU Interior Design Host of CYCU USR Project Team

曾 任 設 計 學 院 院 長、桃 園 景 觀 總 顧 問 的 陳 教 授，對 於 桃 園 有 濃 厚 感 情，他 帶 領 研 究 團 隊 在 田 野 調 查 過 程 中，踏 訪 熟 悉 著 桃 園 每 一 塊 土 地 的 人 文 故 事、地 景 產 業，以 及 給 予 關 懷 眼 光 的 規 劃 設 計。

長 期 以 來，設 計 一 直 被 視 為 菁 英 的 行 業，所 服 務 的 對 象 也 多 以 社 會 中 的 頂 層 階 級 為 主。設 院 師 生 宛 如 象 牙 塔 中 不 食 人 間 煙 火 的

一 群，逕 自 創 作 出 只 屬 於 個 人 的 作 品，曲 高 和 寡，卻 自 顧 自 艾 嘆 生 不 逢 時。有 成 功 者 也 多 受 益 於 媒 體 的 吹 捧，未 必 真 有 裨 益 人 群 的 功 效。

然 而，時 代 的 進 步，環 境 正 義、社 會 關 懷、永 續 生 態 等 議 題，陳

教 授 期 勉 設 計 學 院 U S R 團 隊，應 該 秉 持 著 設 計 即 是 公 義 的 信 念。 同 時 更 期 勉 U S R 團 隊 夥 伴 秉 持「 實 作 」、「參 與 」、「生 活 」三 個

層 面 去 完 成 教 與 學 的 工 作 目 標。以 上 所 言，絕 對 不 只 是 口 號，是

陳 教 授 帶 領 著 中 原 設 計 學 院 U S R 團 隊 劍 及 履 及，使 命 必 達 的 要 求。

Professor Chie-Peng Chen used to be the General Landscape Consultant of Taoyuan Government. With strong emotion concerns for Taoyuan, Professor Chen has led the research teams to proceed the field investigation for many years. During these periods, he’s always paid a visit of every piece of familiar land to explore not only the story of human and culture, industry of landscape, but also to provide the design with caring vision.

For a long time, design is often regarded as an elite career. In other words, designers mainly serve upper class in the society. However, teachers and students in the department of design never understand what life is like for ordinary people, and just create their personal works in their ivory tower, being self-pity and complaining about their fate. Even those who succeed just get the attention from the media not necessarily benefit for the society.

However, with the progress of the times, environmental justice, social care, sustainable ecology and other issues, Professor Chen has long encouraged the teachers and the students of the College of Design to uphold the belief that design is justice. At the same time, the teachers and the students of the College are expected to adhere to the three levels of “practical”, “participation” and “life” to accomplish the goals of teaching and learning. The above is definitely not just a slogan, it is a requirement. To fulfill the mission, Professor Chen has led the teachers and the students to perform the task with full vigor and urgency.

許宜珮 副教 授

中原大學景觀系副教授 Associate Professor Yipei Hsu CYCU Landscape Architecture

美 國 求 學 工作 多 年 後 回 國 任 教 的 宜 珮 老 師，是 美 國 註 冊 景 觀 建 築 師，也 持 有 L E E D 綠 建 築 師 執 照。專 長 是 綠 建 築、生 態 設 計 與 景 觀 規 劃 的 她，在 中 原 大 學 景 觀 學 系 教 學 初 始，便 投 入 植 栽 設 計、

永 續 發 展 導 論 與 環 境 規 畫 與 設 計 等 課 程，力 求 在 現 今 快 速 開 發

環 境 中，緊 抓 住 自 然 環 境 的 紋 理，尋 求 永 續 共 存 共 好 的 環 境 設 計 解 答。

在 捲 起 袖 子 與 學 生 進 入 社 區，進 行 大 學 社 會 責 任 實 踐 的 同 時，以 嶄 新 的 角 度 注 視 已 然 不 落 後 的 現 代 農 村，在 經 濟 發 展 與 自 然 生 態 的 天 平上，作 為 一 個 景 觀 建 築 師 能 做 的，就 是 努 力 不 帶 立 場，但 卻 帶 著 專 業 知 識 地 平 衡 著 前 後 兩 者。拉 扯 難 免，但 在 其 中，必 須 學 習 建 構 美 麗 又 自 然 綿 長 呼 吸 的 地 景。

After studying for and working as a professional landscape architect, also a LEED AP in the United States, Ms. Yipei Hsu returned to Taiwan to teach.

Specializing in green buildings, ecological design and landscape planning, she is a devoted associate professor in the Department of Landscape Architecture teaching planting design, sustainable development and environmental planning.

Through her teaching Ms. Hsu tries to catch up with today’s rapid development growth, to grasp the texture of the nature, and to seek for sustainable and sensible design solutions among all situations combined and coexisted.

Rolling up sleeves to lead students into the community, Ms. Hsu takes university social responsibility practices seriously. She works on finding a new perspective on the modern countryside balancing the economic development and natural environment. She believes that a landscape architect’s destiny is trying to be unbiased and professional, to construct of a beautiful, naturally-breathing scenery.

院 主 任，專 長 建 築 設 計 理 論、馬 來 西 亞 建 築 與 都 市 史、文 化

遺 產 保 存 及 社 區 營 造，並 致 力 於 環 境 與 建 築 設 計 概 念 普 及 化 的 工 作，以 文 化 藝 術 教 育 為 媒 介，以 促 進 社 區 文 化 深 耕 與 活 化。

曾 帶 領 學 生 參 與 民 間 文 化 保 存 運 動，例 如 雙 溪 毛 糯 麻 風 病 院、半 山 芭 社 區 藝 術 計 劃、呀 吃 社 區 藝 術 計 劃、茨 廠 街 藝 術 計 畫、蘇 丹

街 保 存 運 動 等 等。著 有《 英 參 政 時 期 的 吉 隆 坡 》、《 消 失 中 的 吉

隆 坡 》，2 0 0 6 年 起，於 星 洲 日 報、當 今 大 馬 等 專 欄 撰 寫 建 築 與 文 化 評 論 相 關 文 章。

Teoh is an Assistant Professor and Head of School at School of Architecture & Built Environment. He obtained his Master of Architecture from CYCU, Taiwan in 2005. He specializes in Building Conservation, he involved in several notable historical building restorations works in Malaysia and Taiwan, including Taiping Market, Taiping Shuntak Ancestral Hall, Taichung Railway Station, National Monument- Taipei Guest House etc. His teaching and research focus on the areas of cooperative learning and community engagement.

He conducted several design-build community projects, such as Kuala Sepetang ‘Kaktao46’ Community Library, Sungai Buloh Leprosy Story Gallery, Garden Library at Kebun Komunity Rumah Pangsa AU2 etc. He has contributed more than 200+ articles for various media including Sin Chew Daily, MalaysiaKini, Asiaweek, Architecture Malaysia etc on architecture and cultural conservation.

任 實 踐 計 畫 」。引 導 夥 伴 學 校 師 生 組 成 計 畫 與 執 行 團 隊，在 區 域 發 展 上 扮 演 關 鍵 的 地 方 智 庫 角 色，主 動 發 掘 在 地 需 求、解 決 問 題，

透 過 在 地 優 勢 分 工 合 作，協 助 區 域 整 合，帶 動 中 小 企 業 及 社 區 文 化 的 創 新 發 展；

To improve the cooperation between the colleges and area connection, and practice the University society responsibility, to train the University students that can create the value of local development. MOE has started “University social Responsibility project” since 2017.

Guiding the teachers and students to constitute the subject and execute team. It plays an important local role in regional development, find the local requirements and deal with the problems. It assists the regional integration and motivates the innovation and development of SME and institutional culture by the local advantage collaboration.

藉 由 學 習 的 過 程，也 讓 大 學 生 感 受 到「 被 社 區 需 要 」，凝 聚 對 區 域

發 展 的 認 同。本 計 畫 未 來 需 中 央 部 會、地 方 政 府、產 業 聚 落 及 協 會、 社 區 團 體、大 專 院 校 共 同 合 作，創 造 符 合 在 地 城 鄉、產 業 及 文 化 發

展 的 創 新 價 值。中 原 大 學 U S R 團 隊 以 設 計 學 院 建 築、室 設、商 設、 景 觀 等 系 所，及 社 會 設 計 學 程 為 主 體，並 結 合 其 他 學 院 之 合 作 共 同 實 施。

By the learning process, can also make university students have the feeling of needed by the community, agglomerate the identification to regional integration.

This plan will need cooperation with central government, regional government, industrial clusters,association, community groups and colleges. To create the value that conform the local urban and rural,industry and cultural development.

CYCU USR is themed with the departments of architecture, interior design, commercial design, landscape and social community course,and integrate the other academy of CYCU to cooperate and implement together.

畫，結 合 建 築 系、室 設 系、商 設 系、景 觀 系、環 工 系、以 及 應 華 系 等 實 作 課 程 所 學，跨 校 與 健 行 科 大、南 亞 技 術 學 院、萬 能 科 大 等 學

校 合 作。今 年 進 一 步 走 出 台 灣、邁 向 國 際，再 聯 合 馬 來 西 亞 U C S I

大 學 建 築 學 院，進 行 一 系 列 的 合 作 交 流 課 程，推 展「 從 霄 裡 鏈 接 桃 園 兩 圳 文 化 綠 廊 之 永 續 經 營 計 畫 」工作。

Chungyuan Christian University college USR team continues the last project “Activate Cultural Green Corridors of Xiaoli”, and connect what they learn in the departments of Architecture, Interior Design, Commercial Design, Landscape, Environmental Engineering and Applied Chinese & Graduate institute, and also cross school to cooperate with Chien Hsin University of science and technology, Nanya Institute of Technology, Vanung University and so on. It furthers out of Taiwan this year, to toward international, they also connect with the college of Architecture of Malaysia UCCI University, to conduct a series of cooperation communicate course, and improve the job “Sustainable Development Plan to Link The Cultural Green Corridors of Taoyuan and Xiaoli”.

Following the USR International Camp that was successfully co-organized for the first time last year, to let overseas students better understand the land where they live and study in Taiwan and the spirit of university social responsibility, this year the USR project team of Chung Yuan Christian University organized the second international summer camp in collaboration with the International Office.

The team hopes to call on more domestic and foreign students to participate in the university's responsibility practice action, to lighten each other's enthusiasm for Taiwan's land, and to show the most real national diplomacy with actions.

綠 捷 農 地 守 護 聯 盟 是 由 一 群 熱 愛 生 態、重 視 土 地 正 義、自 然 農 法 與 永 續 經 營 的 在 地 居 民、土 地 所 有 權 人、返 鄉 青 年、從 事 農 作 及 關 注 相 關 議 題 的 公 民 所 組 成。

隨 著 產 業 發 展 的 演 進，加 上 城 鄉 人 口 分 佈 的 差 異 逐 漸 擴 大，

都 市 正 以 一 種 不 盡 友 善 的 方 式 擴 張。扭 曲 的 鏟 平 式 土 地 開 發 和 農 地 徵 收，將 流 失 農 村 豐 富 且 多 元 的 自 然 面 貌，更 對 生 態 環

境 造 成 嚴 重 影 響。對 於 不 尊 重 在 地 紋 理 和 人 權 的 開 發 方 式 與 浮 濫 徵 收 令 我 們 感 到 擔 憂。

家 是 根，地 是 本。我 們 期 盼 從 自己 生 活 的 周 遭 開 始，深 掘 在 地

人 文 生 態 底 蘊，進 一 步 守 護 且 轉 譯 在 地 生 態 環 境、人 文 傳 統 與 技 藝，落 實 生 活、生 產、生 態 的 永 續 發 展。讓 城 市 與 鄉 村 得 以 彼 此 共 存 共 榮。

未 來 希 望 能 連 結 更 多 志 同 道 合 的 夥 伴，一 起 翻 轉 台 灣 城 鄉， 打 造 里 山 倡 議 的 新 生 活 樣 貌。

FGA is composed mainly by a group of local residents, land owners, returned youths, farming enthusiasts and also citizens who love ecology, attach importance to issues associated with land justice, natural farming and land sustainability.

With the process of industrial development and the increasing disparity in the distribution of population between urban and rural areas, expansion of city scale deviates from its care for people. Under the distorted urbanization idea, the land is bulldozed and farmland expropriated at the cost of losing rich and diversified rural natural appearance and further damaging the ecological environment. We are concerned about not only the excessive land expropriation but also the land developments that do not respect the local context and human rights.

This land is our home and foundation. Initiated from our surroundings, we would dive deep into the heritage of our local humanist ecology so as to protect and translate our local ecological environment, cultural tradition and art for sustainable development in life, production and environment. Let the urban and the rural live and prosperous together.

We hope in the future we will connect with more like-minded partners to transform the urban and rural position and create a new look of life as Satoyama Initiative in Taiwan.

裡 , 得 以 自 給 自 足 且 無 後 顧 之 憂 地 進 行 創 作。

江 湖 的 誕 生 ⸺ 也 是 因 為 我 們 逐 漸 失 去 了土 地，農 田 不 再 種 植，反 而 成 為 炒 作 地 皮 的 工 具。遠 方 原 住 民 友 人 的 話 語 不 斷 回 響 著“ 東 部 留 給 我 們 好 好 守 護 , 西 部 你 們 就 好 好 復 育 吧 ! ”

於 是，江 湖 藉 著 實 踐 樸 門 永 續 設 計 和 半 農 半 X 的 生 活 方 式 在

此 落 地 生 根，落 實 照 顧 地 球，照 顧 人，公 平 分 享 的 樸 門 精 神，

並 期 許 連 結 眾 人 的 創 意 與 力 量，為 台 灣 的 農 業 敲 出 豐 美 而 生 意盎然的變奏曲 ~

隨 食 物 森 林 的 成 長，江 湖 不 定 期 舉 辦 讀 書 會、工 作 坊、食 農 共

學、在 地 走 讀、環 境 學 習 和 在 地 創 意 生 態 市 集 等 活 動，為 在 地 創 作 與 生 態 環 境 提 供 具 韌 性 的 交 流 平台，讓 更 多 夢 想 飛 翔。

“An open studio in our food forest where spontaneous creativities are born.”

Worldwide Open Studio was born to welcome like-minded independent creators to wander around in the food forest, to be self-sustainable and to create without boundaries.

W.O.S. values our land. We are gradually losing our land and idling farmlands fall victim to a rise in land speculation. A distance echoing from our aboriginal friends says " leave the east coast for us to guard and you folks go back and restore the west coast!” thus the W.O.S. was born. W.O.S. takes root here through the practices of Permaculture and Half Farming Half X lifestyle. To fulfil the ethics of earth care, people care and faire share. We hope to connect creativity and strength from all walks of life, to create a synergy that brings about variety and abundance in Taiwan’s agriculture.

With the growth of our food forest, W.O.S. irregularly host reading clubs, workshops, farm-to-table co-learning, and local creative eco-markets.

These activities will provide a solid and resilient platform to support local creations and ecological sustainability, and allow more dreams to soar high!

園 藝 文 陣 線 自 2 0 1 5 年 3 月 起 以 網 路 號 在 地 青 年，以「 藝 術 返 鄉 」、「 桃 園 在 地 」為 核 心 目 標，於 桃 園、 中 壢 自 行 籌 辦 2 屆「 回 桃 看 藝 術 節 」，運 用 社 群 網 路 機 制，串 聯 青 年 及 藝 文 社 群，邀 請 藝 術 創 作 者 進

入 具 有 在 地 特 色 之 閒 置 市 場、地 景 及 公 共 空 間，連 結 藝 術 工 作 者 與 在 地 文 化、議 題 以 及 產 業，使 藝 術 節 成 為 展 現 在 地 的 平台，也 成 為 展 現「 桃 園 」的 媒 介。

藝 文 陣 線 長 期 關 心 桃 園 文 化 資 產、老 店、市 場、空 間 活 化 等 議 題，並 於 中 壢 地 區 成 立 社 區 營 造 工 作 站，更 在

過 去 人 稱「 番 薯 市 」的 民 生 路 街 區 成 立「角 礫 藝 文 咖 啡 空 間 」，自 2 0 17 年 至 2 0 2 0 年，向 台 鐵 局 承 租「台 鐵 五 號 倉 庫 」創 建「 中 壢 五 號 倉 庫 藝 文 基 地 」。

計 畫 成 員 集 結 文 史 田 調、博 物 館 策 畫、活 動 企 劃、美 術 編 輯、空 間 規 劃 等 多 元 組 成，使 得 協 會 得 以 從 事 更 多

文 化 上 的 推 動 及 空 間 的 保 存 活 化 規 劃。對 我 們 而 言，社 造 與 地 方 創 生 是 一 種 溝 通，用自己 擅 長 喜 愛 的 方 式， 運 用 藝 術 展 覽 的 手 法，以 及 博 物 館 策 展 的 思 維，把 我 們 關 注 的 議 題，變 成 大 家 都 願 意 共 同 付 出 的 事。也 透 過 具 體 的 規 劃 與 行 動，讓 創 生 成 為 一 件 真 正 能 夠 自 主 營 運，轉 化 運 用，形 成 產 業 的 一 個 方 法。

Taoyuan Art Cultural Front started on internet in March 2015 to call out local teenagers, with the aim “Home for Art”, “Taoyuan Culture”, the association had held 2 sessions of “Taoyuan Art Festival” in Taoyuan and Zhongli, using social media to connect teenagers and art community, inviting artists settle in Taoyuan, linking artists with Taoyuan local culture, topics and industries, making “Taoyuan Art Festival” become a media appearing Taoyuan culture.

Taoyuan Art Cultural Front has been concerned about Taoyuan’s cultural assets, classic stores, markets and space revitalization.

It has established a community construction workstation in Zhongli, and has set up a "Thee Corner Cafe" in the Minsheng Road neighborhood known as "Sweet Potato City" in the past. From 2017 to 2020, leased the "Taiwan Railway No. 5 Warehouse" from the Taiwan Railway Administration to create the "ChungLi 5 Art".

Our members gather a diverse composition of historical field surveys, museum planning, event planning, art editing, and spatial planning, enabling the association to engage in more cultural promotion, space preservation, and activation planning. For us, social creation and local creation is a kind of communication, using the methods that we are good at, using the way of art exhibition and museum curatorial thinking to turn our concerns into things that everyone is willing to contribute together. Through specific planning and actions, local creation has become a method that can operate independently, transform and use, hence form an industry.

稱「田 中 博 士 」的 吳 聲 昱 老 師，不 僅 在 桃 園 市 龍 潭 區 成 功 復 育 俗 稱「 雷 公 蛙 」的 台 北 赤 蛙，成 果 豐 碩 之

外，他 也 是 國 內 第 一 位 成 功 復 育 原 生 種「台 灣 萍 蓬 草 」的 專 家。吳 老 師 自 幼 就 喜 歡 自 然，會 跟 環 境 結 緣，

投 入 台 灣 萍 蓬 草 的 復 育 及 台 北 赤 蛙 的 保 育 工作。是 因 為 在 民 國 7 5 年，看 見 美 麗 的 新 埔 老 家 已 變 得 連 找 一 根

水 草 也 相 當 困 難。至 此 便 開 啟 了 艱 苦 的 復 育 之 路，吳 老 師 領 會 生 態 環 境 生 息 永 續 運 作 的 結 合 方 式，強 調 「一

草 一 功 能，一 草 一 特 色 」，帶 領 學 生 認 識 濕 地。他 教 導 學 生 把 課 本 上 的 水 生 植 物 逐 一 栽 種 出 來，其 中 最 讓 人 欣 慰 的，莫 過 於 很 多 小 朋 友 對 水 生 植 物 從 陌 生 到 瞭 解 的 過 程 中，能 親 身 體 會 大 自 然 的 奧 妙 與 美 麗。

Teacher Wu Shengyu, also known as "Dr. Farm,” not only successfully restored the Taipei Frog (Scientific name: Hylarana taipehensis) , commonly known as the "Thunder Frog" in Longtan District, Taoyuan City, he was also the first person who successfully restored the native species "Yellow Water Lilly ". Mr. Wu was obsessed with nature since he was a child, and has connected with the environment since then. In the 75th year of the “Republic Era”, Mr. Wu found his beautiful Xinpu hometown had become a grassless place. Hence, Mr. Wu started his arduous trip of ecological restoration, he has learned how the connection between animals and the surroundings sustains the ecological system and teaches his students about the wetlands with the slogan “One plant, one function.

One grass, one characteristic”. He asks his students to plant all the aquatic plants in their textbook. It was so gratifying to let the children experience the beautiful natural secret and learn through the process.

We are the global not-for-profit organization dedicated to the conservation and restoration of wetlands. Our vision is a world where wetlands are treasured and nurtured for their beauty, the life they support and the resources they provide. We are dedicated to maintaining and restoring wetlands for their environmental values as well as for the services they provide to people. We work through our members, our partners and experts to achieve our goals. Our founder Mr. Wu who saw the gorgeous views, however sorrowful at the same time as the destruction of human beings, while he was traveling through the eight major rivers in Taiwan, so he began to promote the beauty of wetland, planning mesocosm for schools, communities, and government agencies. Through restoring Taipei Frog, Yellow Water Lilly, and other wetland creatures, Mr. Wu shows the fascinating wetland to the Taiwanese and promotes the importance of protecting the environment, to let more people willing to protect our home with us. Therefore, our mission to inspire and mobilize society to safeguard and restore wetlands for people and nature.

人 文地景

Taoyuan pond, Human landscape

台 灣 地 區 有 密 密 麻 麻 的 大 水 塘，從 丘 陵 到 海 岸，面 積 越 來 越 大，形 成 特 殊 的 人 文 景 觀。這 些 大 水 塘 也 就 是 客 家 人 所 稱「 埤 塘 」或 福 佬 人 所 稱 的「 埤 仔」。而 桃

園 台 地 上 無 數 的 埤 塘 景 觀 是 進 入 國 門，降 落 中 正 機 場 之 前，必 會 看 到 的 地 理 景 觀，也 代 表 著 一 個 國 家 門 戶意 象 的 景 觀。

文 化 面 來 看，桃 園 台 地 的 埤 圳 開 發，正 反 映 閩、客、平 埔 各 族 群 開 拓 鄉 土 的 歷 史 痕 跡。因 此 宣 稱 桃 園 台 地 上 的 埤 圳 系 統 為 珍 貴 的 文 化 資 產 也 不 為 過。

There are various big ponds in Taiwan, the area of these ponds are more and more big from hills to seacoast, and it formed a special human landscape. The Hakka call these big ponds was �Pi Tang� Hoklo call them �Pi Zai�. And the countless pond in Taoyuan plateau is the geographic landscape you will see when you enter the area of Taiwan and before landing in Taiwan Taoyuan International Airport. Because of that, it also is a landscape that symbols our country portal imagery.

From the culture point of view, the development of ponds in Taoyuan plateau, is reflecting the historical traces about opening up the native soil between the communities of Fujian, Hakka, and Taiwanese Plains Indigenous People. So, it is reasonable to announce the landscape irrigation system in Taoyuan plateau is precious cultural heritage.

桃園大圳 Taoyuan Canal

台 灣 日 治 時 期 重 要 水 利 工 程 之一，由 總 督 府 工 程 師 八 田 與 一 與 狩 野 三

郎 等 設 計，興 建 幹 線 及 12 條 支 線 串 連 埤 塘。1913 年（ 大 正 2 年 ），桃 園

發 生 嚴 重 旱 災，正 13 年 竣 工，翌 年 5 月 22 日 擧 行 通 水 式，1928 年（ 昭 和 3 年 ）各 蓄 水 池 與 給 水 幹 線 的 工 程 正 式 完 工，灌 溉 桃 園 市 各 區 域。

Taoyuan Canal was one of the important water conservancy projects in Taiwan during the Japanese Occupation. It was designed by the Governor’s office engineers Hatta Yuichi and Kano Saburo. There is a main line and 12 branch lines to connect the pond.

In 1913 (Taisho 2), Taoyuan suffered a severe drought, the construction was completed in Taisho 13 and the water supply ceremony was held on May 22 of the following year.

In 1928 (Showa 3), the construction of some reservoirs and water supply lines was officially completed to irrigate all areas of Taoyuan city.

石門大圳 Shimen Canal

1953 年（ 民 國 42 年 ）桃 園 乾 旱，大 嵙 崁 溪（ 今 大 漢 溪 ）水 位 不 足，桃 園 大 圳 出 現 用 水 不 足，促 使 石 門 水 庫 興 建，水 庫 完 工 後 同 時 建 構 了 石 門

大 圳，1956 年 7 月 開 工，1964 年 6 月 完 工，灌 溉 區 域 涵 蓋 桃 園 市 龍 潭 區、 中 壢 區、楊 梅 區、平 鎭 區、八 德 區、新 竹 縣 湖 口 鄉。主 要 設 施，除 1960

年 代 完 工 的 石 門 大 圳 和 水 庫 工 程 外，整 個 水 利 系 統 也 將 過 去 的 古 圳 道 併入，包 括 1741 年（ 乾 隆 6 年 ）由 薛 啓 隆 和 邱、黃、廖 三 姓 合 建 的「合 大

興 圳 」。總 灌 溉 區 有 17 區，16 條 支 線。

In 1953 (R.O.C. 42nd year), Taoyuan was dry, the water level of Datongkan Creek (now Dahan Creek) was insufficient, so Taoyuan Canal had insufficient of water, which promote the construction of Shimen Reservior. Shimen Canal was constructed at the same time after the completion of the reservoir. The construction started in July 1956 and completed in June 1964. The irrigation area covers Longtan District, Zhongli District, Yangmei District, Pingzhen District, Bade District, and Hukou Township in Hsinchu County. In addition, the Shimen Canal and Reservoir Project completed in the 1960s, the entire water conservancy system also merged the old canal roads, including the “Hedaxing Canal” built by Qilong-Xue and Qiu, Huang, and Liao in 1741 (the 6th year of Qianlong). The total irrigation area has 17 districts and 16 branch lines.

Next to the bustling Zhongzheng Arts and Cultural Zone, there is a large area of open farmland. The planning of the MRT Green Line is accompanied by the surrounding development, this green area will be coated by cement buildings. There is a group of people working hard to protect the agricultural land in the city. We always believe that development and nature are always on the opposite side. Most of today’s development planning schemes do not concern about the value of the land. Farmland is not only the output of crops, but also closely integrated with the life on the ground. The open fields, the babbling water canals and the earth temples in the fields are all representing a kind of life style.

埤 塘 面 積 開 闊 且 四 周 平 坦， 有 一 條 環 埤 黃 土 道 路 ， 西 側 為 高 起 之 土 堤 與 農 田

現 因 鄰 近 主 要 道 路 ( 中 正 北 路 )， 西 側 邊 緣 鄰 近 道 路 介 面 較 為 生 硬 ， 內 有 局

附近沿著水圳有一條螢火蟲巷。螢火蟲是居住在乾淨水源、無光汙染及草木

利 設 施、 兩 處 漁 寮 及 多 處 漁 飼 料 機 供 餵 養， 現 況 看 似 低 維 護 漁 飼 使 用 緊 鄰

分 隔 ， 附 近 多 為 農 田 與 農 舍 。 在 通 往 埤 塘 的 路 上 有 一 處 向 日 葵 花 田， 而 埤 塘 繁 茂 之 地的 環 境 指 示 生 物 ， 由此可知此埤塘坐擁良好的生態環境。

The pond area is open and all sides are flat. There is a loess road around the pond. The west side is a raised embankment and farmland separated, and there are mostly farmland and farmhouses nearby. On the road to the pond, there is a Sunflower Flower Field, and there is a Firefly Alley along the water canal near the pond. Fireflies live in clean water sources, no light pollution, and lush vegetation environment. It can be seen that this pond has a good ecological environment.

Because of the nearby main road (Zhongzheng north road), the interface of the west side adjacent to the road is relatively rigid, there is some fishing and feeding equipment inside, but not many man-made facilities, almost maintain in a complete and natural state. The current situation looks like low maintenance fishing feed use because of the basic water conservancy facilities, two fishing lodges, and multiple fishing feed machine for feeding. The 2-2-3 pond next to G13a station will be the best observation point in the future.

此舊名為「牛角陂」，於清領時期形成、日治完工。民國年間陂塘左右邊被

其 附 近 地 勢 較 低 處， 曾 為 溪 流 舊 河 道， 且 因 樹 林 林 立， 過 去 常 在 此 放 養 牛 隻

價 值 較 高 的 蓮 花 。 埤 塘 整 體 保 有 較 為 原 始 之 狀 態 ， 亦 有 大 批 赤 膀 鴨 棲 息， 可

亞公司工業用水。水質狀況保持的相當乾淨，常有民眾會到此處 釣 魚 休 閒 。

填平將近一半，做為農地使用，早期多為種稻為主的閩南人，後多轉作經濟 見 其 生 態豐 富 之 程 度 。

It was called Niujiaobei, which was formed during the Qing Dynasty and completed during the Japanese occupation. During the period of the R.O.C, the left and right sides of the pond were nearly half filled and used as farming land. In the early days, most of the people in Minnan were rice farmers, and they were converted to lotus flowers with higher economic value. The pond is kept in a primitive status, and there are also a large number of red bladder ducks inhabiting, which shows the ecological richness of the pond.

The nearby lower terrain was once an old river channel with a stream, and it was named because of the forests that used to raise cattle here.

Besides of the irrigation function, it has also provide industrial water for Formosa Plastics South Asia. The water quality is kept clean; some people will come here for fishing.

舊 名「 銀 店 陂 」， 因 為 這 個 地 方 在 日 治 時 期 稱 為「 銀 店 」。 現 因 都 市 道 路 經

年 重 修 完工 ，更 名 為「 蘆 興 景觀埤塘生態公園」。環埤步道總長約 1.2 公里，

有一婚宴會館。鄰近住宅區多為公寓大廈，又因該路段為重要外 環 替 代 道 路 ，

範 陂 塘 」 ， 以 生 態 工 程 為 導 向 ， 不 使 用 水 泥， 以 自 然 建 材 為 主。 於 民 國 108 埤 塘 周 遭設 施 完 善 ， 綠 林 成 蔭，現為附近居民散步休憩的好去處。

It was called Siniupi, it was planned as the Second Generation Demonstration Pond in 2006. It is guided by ecological engineering, no using of cement, mainly uses natural building materials. It was rebuilt and completed in 2019 and was renamed as Luxing Pond Ecological Park. The total length of the trail around the pond is about 1.2km. The surrounding area of the pond is well-equipped. The viewing platforms are covered with thriving trees and shaded by green trees. It is now a good place for nearby residents to take a walk and rest.

過 將 埤 塘 分 割 成 南 北 兩 側， 四 周 仍 維 持 較 少 人 工 開 發 之 狀 態， 惟 西 南 側 池 畔 故多是交通工具通行，較少行人步行。

It was called Yindianpi. The place was called “iron shops” during the Japanese occupation. Because the highway passes by, the pond is divided into north and south sides. There are currently almost none leisure activities, but there is a wedding banquet hall on the southwest side of the pool.The neighboring residential areas are mostly apartment buildings with densely populated, and because this section is an important circumferential alternative road, it is mostly used by vehicles and less pedestrians walk.

德 馨堂 De Xin Tang

德 馨 堂 由 林 氏 家 族 所 興 建，為 一 閩 南 式 三合 院 住 宅，最 初 的 建 築 形 態 應 屬 典 型 的 三合 院 建 築 形 式 ( 有 正 身、

左 右 護 龍 )，但 現 僅 剩 正 身 與 右 側 護 龍。宅 第 現 已 閒 置 無 作 使 用，如 今 房 屋 老 舊 崩 塌 後，屋 前 空 地 被 林 改 建 成 菜 園，但 依 舊 保 留 了老 屋 的 原 始 面 貌。

德 馨 堂 由 現 管 理 者 的 曾 祖 父 建 造，其 曾 祖 父 及 祖 父 是 木 匠，父 親 為 入 贅，職 業 是 油 漆 匠。 而 其 本 身 是 做 板

模，因 此 自己 將 後 面 的 房 子 蓋 起 來。曾 經 德 馨 堂 前 的 地 板 是 鋪 鵝 卵 石，越 往 下 石 頭 越 大，現 在 是 直 接 上 面 鋪

一 層 水 泥。祖 厝 以 前 附 近 的 水 溝 系 統 尚 未 完 善 時，國 小 以 及 周 遭 常 常 淹 水，但 水 溝 以 及 埤 塘 的 排 水 系 統 做 好 後已得到改善

De Xin Tang was built by the Lin family as a Minnan(Taiwanese)-style triple court residence. The initial architecture form should be a three-section compound architecture (with a body, left and right guarding dragons), but now only the body and right guarding dragon are left. The house has been left unused. Now that the old house collapsed, the open space in front of the house was converted into a vegetable garden, but it still retains the original appearance of the old house.

De Xin Tang was built by the great-grandfather of the current manager. His great-grandfather and grandfather were carpenters, his father was a patriarch and he was a painter. He itself is a slab mold worker, so he built the house behind it himself. The floor in front of Dexintang used to be paved with pebbles, and the bigger the stone goes down, now it’s a layer of cement directly on it. When the ditch system neat the house was not perfect, the elementary school and the surrounding area were often flooded, but the drainage system of the ditch and pond has now been improved.

懷 德居

Huai De Ju

呂氏 家 族 有 6 0 0 年 的 家 族 史，而 懷 德 居 是 1 9 2 4 年 由 呂氏 家 族 祖 父 輩 所 建，為 一 閩 南 式 三合 院 住 宅，最 初 建

築 形 態 屬 於 典 型 的 三合 院 建 築 形 式（ 僅 有 正 身、左 右 護 龍 ） ，且 門 口 建 有 圍 牆。後 因 家 族 人 增 加 居 住 空 間 不足， 故 拆 除 原 先 圍 牆 並 擴 建 成 前 後 兩 進、左 右 雙 護 龍 的 四 合 院 農 宅。

The Lu Family has a family history of 600 years, and the Huideju Residence was built in 1924 by the grandfather of the Lu Family. It was a Minnan-style triple court residence. The original architectural form was a typical triple-court house (only body, left and right guarding dragons), there is a wall on the door. Later, due to the lack of living space for the family, the original fence was demolished and expanded into a courtyard farm house with two entrances in front and rear and double guarding dragon on the left and right.

早 期 日 軍 常 看 到 民 宅、樹 林 就 開 槍 掃 射，而「 懷 德 居 」早 前 周 圍 種 了 很 多 相 思 樹，日 軍 誤 以 為 其 把 反 叛 相 關 人 事 物 藏 於 樹 叢 間，因 此 在 當 時「 懷 德 居 」前 還 有 築 圍 牆，所 以 正 廳 外 牆

上 僅 有 少 數 當 時 槍 彈 掃 射 的 彈 孔 痕 跡（ 現 已 用 水 泥 補 齊 ）。早 期 為 躲 戰 爭 空 襲、日 本 武 裝 攻 擊，父 輩 曾 在 現 今 的 茄 苳 溪 河 道 上 建 立 防 空 洞 來 躲 避。

建 築 後 面 過 去 曾 有 數 棟 獨 立 的 傳 統 土 埆 屋（ 目 前 僅 存 一 棟 ），以 大 型 卵 石 為 基 底，加 上 黏 土 混 稻 草 段，類 似 防 水 層 的 概 念，以 避 免 房 屋 淋 雨 潮 濕，主 要 是 儲 放 農 業 用 具 居 多，一 旁 有 兩 口 地 下 水 鑿 井、儲 水 池，以 及 呂 氏 家 族 自 建 的 家 用 水 道，早 期 的 小 孩 會 跟 著 大 人 在 水 井 取 水，並 且在 儲 水 空 間 洗 衣、戲 水，或 是 直 接 到 屋 前 的「 茄 苳 溪 」戲 水、抓 魚。

In the early days, the Japanese army often shot at houses and woods. However, there are many acacia trees planted around the “Huaideju” earlier. The Japanese army mistakenly believed that people and things related to the rebellion were hidden among the trees. Therefore, there was a wall built in front of the “Huaideju” at that time, so there are only a few bullet holes on the outer wall of main hall (now filled with cement). In the early days, in order to avoid war air raids and Japanese armed attacks, the fathers used to build air-raid shelters on the current Jiadongxi River to escape.

There used to be some several independent traditional soil houses behind the building, but now only one exists with large pebbles as base and clay-mixed straw sections, similar to the concept of the waterproof layer, to prevent the house from being rained and damp. It is mainly for storage, most of the agricultural tools are placed on the side. There are two groundwater sinking wells and storage tanks, and the household water channel built by the Lu family. In the early days, children would follow adults to fetch water from the wells, also wash and play in the water storage space, or go directly to the Jiadongxi River in front of the house to play and catch fish.

和 平 農 場 地 處 楊 梅 區 上 田 里，位 於 和 平 路 與 高 鐵 站 南 路 七 段 相 交 地 點，緊 鄰 新 屋 區 及 中 壢 區，占 地 約 1 公 頃。 農 場 有 許 多 水 池，除 復 育 台 灣 原 生 水 生 植 物 外，也 配 合 現 地 規 劃 每 一 池 的 水 位 差 及 渠 道，運 用 各 植 物 淨 化

水 質 能 力，淨 化 生 活 汙 水 及 農 業 灌 溉 汙 水。下 游 區 以 附 近 耕 作 之 農 民 運 用 此 區 的 排 水 栽 培 蔬 菜，水 質 明 顯

Helping Wetland Ecological Farm locates in Shangtianli, Yangmei District, at the intersection of Heping Road and Section 7, Gaotie South Road. It is close to Xinwu District and Zhongli District, covering an area of about 1 hectare. There are lots of ponds on the farm. They are planned with on-site water level measurement and channels, uses plants to purify water quality, purifying domestic and agricultural irrigation sewage, in addition to restoring Taiwan native aquatic plants. Farmers nearby the downstream area use the drainage of this area for cultivation. They can feel the water quality has improved significantly, as the plants are particularly healthy. In addition, this wetland has also cooperated with the Taiwan Conversation Association of Native Fishes to restore native Taiwan fishes. Many native Taiwan fishes that had disappeared in Taiwan's streams display on the farm. The restoration results are significant.

中 壢 老 城 街 區 發 展 2 0 0 多年，文化 底 蘊 厚 實，從百年 老 廟 到 最 近 8 0 年 的日式 宿 舍 群 與 倉 庫 漸 漸 擾 動，可惜 這 樣 深 層 厚 度 歷 史 還 是 被 隱 藏 著，這 是 在 地 文化 學 的 隱 憂，透 過 文化 調 查、參 與、營 造 與 創 生，確 實 是 在 地 學 校 可以作 為 繼 續 傳 承 的 重 要 推 力，讓 中 壢 與 學 生 之 間 不 是 陌 生 關 係，而 是可以 變 成 生 根 的 青 年力 量。而中 壢 老 城 街 區博 物 館串連 推 動 就 是可以 實 踐 學 校 與 社 區 最 好 的 場 域 與 文化 永 續 的 方 式。 Zhongli old street area has developed for 200 years, it’s deep-rooted culturally, it gradually disturbed from century old temple to the last eighty years Japanese dormitory group and warehouse. It is unfortunately this deep rooted culture was still hidden. This is a hidden worry for the local culturology. With cultural research, participate, build and creation, it actually could be the important improvement for local school to keep passing on, and let Zhongli and the students not just in the strange relationship, it also could be the teenager power. And Zhongli old street area museum serial push is the best way to practice school and the best area and cultural sustainability in community.

新 媒 體，將 麻 河 串 聯 鄉 鎮、推 動 社 區 與 麻 河 邊 上 的 人 事 物，並 提 出 未 來

各 種 可 能 的 生 活 提 案，從 而 達 到 社 區 與 鄉 鎮 的 永 續 發 展。這 喚 起 各 界 對 於 人 與 河 川 關 係 的 關 注，同 時 也 讓 我 們 一 同 感 受 與 河 共 生 的 心 路 歷 程，期 望 河 川 流 域 的 環 境 變 得 更 好、更 完 善。

週 末 來 到 桃 園 中 壢 火 車 站，你 可 能 會 以 為 自己 身 處 之 東 南 亞 國 家，因 為 走 道 旁 的 石 階、廣 場 上，或 站 或 蹲 的 人，全 都 是 南 洋 面 孔。街 道 旁 不 少寫 著 泰 文、越 南 文、印 尼 文、英 文（ 菲 律 賓 商 店 ）的 招 牌，琳 瑯 滿 目。

中 壢 火 車 站 周 圍，約 有 百 家 東 南 亞 商 店 及 難 以 估 算 的 攤 販。中 壢 後 火 車 站 還 有「 印 尼 一 條 街 」，是 居 住 再 此

的 印 尼 華 人 重 要 的 生 活 圈。這 條 街 上，從 宗 教 信 仰 據 點 基 督 教 教 會、到 填 飽 肚 子 的 印 尼 餐 廳、採 買 印 尼 食 材

的 雜 貨 店、打 理 門 面 的 美 髮 店，一 應 俱 全，滿 足 生 活 大 小 事。有 印 尼 人 說，來 到 這，聽 著 熟 悉 的 語 言、吃 著 家 鄉 味，儼 然 有 置 身 印 尼 的 錯 覺。

When you come to Taoyuan Zhongli Station on the weekend, you might think that you are in a Southeast Asian country, because there are people standing or squatting beside the stone steps, squares and the walkway, are all Southeast Asian faces. 桃園市中壢區新興里天祥一 街 6 0 號

桃 園 藝 文 陣 線 長 期 關 注 桃 園 在 地 議 題，而 中 壢 是 許 多 新 住 民 聚 集 的 地 方，近 年 來 新 住 民 也 漸 漸 融 入 社 會 使

台 灣 成 為 一 個 多 元 的 整 體。位 於 中 壢 的 新 興 里 有 許 多 新 住 民 媽 媽 在 此 居 住，因 此 在 這 邊 與 許 多 志 同 道 合 的 夥 伴 組 成「 印 尼 坤 甸 - 他 的 娘 家 我 們 的 冒 險 」團 隊。

火 龍 果 屋 是 一 棟 兩 層 樓 的 透 天 厝，駐 立 在 社 區 之 中，保 留 了台 灣 六 零 年 代 舊 式 建 築 的 風 情。未 來 希 望 將 火 龍

果 屋 改 造 成 一 個 與 新 住 民 互 動 的 社 區 據 點，提 供 新 住 民 們 一 個 軟 性 空 間，凝 聚 大 家 的 在 地 認 同，讓 他 們 能 夠 相 約 在 這 個 基 地，一 同 用 分 享 自己 的 故 事、家 鄉 料 理 交 流、體 驗 彼 此 文 化 等 方 式 回 味 家 鄉；同 時 也 讓 台 灣 人可 參 與 聚 會，進 而 認 識 多 元 文 化。

Taoyuan Art Cultural Front (TaoACF) has been concerned about Taoyuan’s local issues for a long time. Zhongli is a place where many new immigrants have gradually integrated into the society, making Taiwan a pluralistic society. There are many new immigrant mothers, so they formed a “Indonesia Pontianak – His Family Our Adventure” with many like-minded partners.

Dragon Fruit House is a two-story house that stands in the community and retains the style of the old-style buildings in Taiwan in the 1960s. In the future, hope that the dragon fruit house will be transformed into a community base for interaction with the new immigrants, provide a relax space for them to condense everyone’s local identity, and allows them to meet and share their stories and communicate with hometown cooking, experience each other’s culture to reminisce their hometown. At the same time, it also allows Taiwanese to participate in gathering and learn about multiculturalism.
