RSPA Missouri Valley Pros,

This will be my final President's Address as I finish out the last month of my Presidency. I have served this organization as a board member for just over a decade and I'd like to take this last address to talk about these past 12 years.

I can remember attending my first USPTA (now RSPA) Missouri Valley convention and one of the things that stuck out to me was all that was going on behind the scenes. I looked at that group that was organizing the event and what struck me was how much excitement and energy they had at the convention. I remember wantingto be a part of the group that was so escited to give back and be leaders in this industry.

I volunteering as a board member or want to give back in any way, I highly recommend looking into it. It is one of the more rewarding things I have done in the tennis industry.

I have gained lifelong friendships with the people I have served with on the board throughout the years, and also other pros throughout the RSPA Missouri Valley. This organization brings us together, gives us some common ground, and has allowed me to form friendships with people who are miles and miles away in which I would otherwise never have known them at all. I am truly grateful for those relationships and they will continue to last long after I have left the board. If you are one of these people and there are too many to name, thank you for everything.

The one person I will name in my last address that is the glue of the RSPA Missouri Valley is Angie Koumaris.  Angie bleeds RSPA and I cannot express how vital she is to the board as our Executive Director.  Angie has been a constant figure with the board for longer than I have been a board member, and she has been the best of all of us.  She is also a great human and a true friend.  If you run into her make sure to thank her for everything she does for the RSPA Missouri Valley.

With that I have been privileged to be a part of this organization and appreciate everything it has given me. To seeing you all down the road,

Bunny Bruning
