International Students IN THE VIRTUAL EXCHANGE 2021-2 The virtual mobility program with USIL for the 2021-02 (August-December) term has the participation of more than 150 international students from different countries, including Germany, Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Denmark, Ecuador, France, Mexico and Sweden. Students will be able to take up to 20 USIL academic credits during the exchange semester and participate in cultural sessions as part of this great international experience.

Besides, they will have the opportunity to share classes with USIL students, learn from our professors and provide the international component in each class of our 08 USIL professional majors:

Internationalization per Faculty Following the internationalization plan for our USIL Faculties in the 2021-01 semester we have coordinated various collaborative activities with strategic partners for our 38 professional careers of our 08 faculties, with a total of 2,620 impacted students.

Red Mutis Achievements 1. MOVIRUM USIL will receive for the 2021-II Semester 39 students from the member universities of the Mutis University Network, for the virtual academic exchange program. In addition, we have 2 projects executed with the careers of Agroindustrial Engineering and Education.

2. GLOBAL COMPETENCE SEAL The members of the Red Mutis are working to establish a Global Seal aimed at the training of professionals and global citizens in the associated institutions. This initiative is sought to design in a consensual manner a comprehensive model to implement a seal of global competencies at the curricular levels, for the evaluation of learning outcomes.

3. RESEARCH We have been working on research articles with the Faculty of Education and the Master of Education with the application of TICs.

On June 1st, Universidad EAN of Colombia held a virtual ceremony to grant recognition to Universidad UADE (Argentina) and USIL (Peru).

Special recognition was granted to Dr. Ramiro Salas Bravo, Grand Chancellor of the Universidad San Ignacio de Loyola and to Dr. Hector Masoero, President and Honorary Rector of UADE, after his successful management for the development of the Network of Excellence.

PROJECT: USIL participated in a Erasmus + project in partnership with Cracow University of Economics. In the project USIL welcomed professor Jadwiga Berbeka, who taught different sessions for USIL students from the school HTG, under the frame of visiting professor. The sessions were the following: 15/06/2021 - Development of sport tourism running events 16/06/2021 - Master Class: Consumer experiences in adventure tourism 17/06/2021 - Tourist contributions to content marketing

Likewise, in retribution, Cracow University nominated USIL to carry out staff mobility. Josemaria Delgado and Cinthia Huaman, Internartional Product Managers, were elected in order to share good practicies in the work environment.

Participation in

NAFSA 2021

Conference & Expo

USIL participated in the NAFSA 2021 Annual Conference & Expo, one of the most important international fairs in the education sector. The virtual meeting was developed through a platform that allowed to meet institutions at an international level and generate meetings with their representatives.

USIL achieved a total of 87 meetings with: 41 American universities, 40 European universities, 4 Asian universities and 2 ocean universities. Consequently, 12 potential strategic partners belonging to the QS ranking were identified as:

"I loved participating in the third edition of the Virtual International Festival, in which I had the opportunity to share my experience of the international programs that I carried out thanks to USIL in my 6 years of university. USIL: ONE OF THE 8 BEST UNIVERSITIES IN PERU

The prestigious international higher education consultancy Quacquarelli Symonds (QS) published the QS World University Rankings 2022, where the Universidad San Ignacio de Loyola appears as one of the 8 best public and private universities in Peru. This ranking of international level and global reach measured the educational quality of more than 1,673 universities around the world and 1,300 were ranked. 8 of them were Peruvian universities, including USIL. The order of merit was established from a set of performance indicators based on rigorous international standards in order to certify the excellence of the institutions.

The Direction of International Relations launched its PODCAST channel on Spotify, in order to give greater visibility to the international programs that USIL has thanks to its international alliances. You can find us on Spotify as USIL International.
