Recovery on Water (ROW) is a charitable organization focused on helping breast cancer survivors recover from their surgery and chemotherapy through the exercise of rowing and the camaraderie of rowing in an eight boat. Youngest summer intern the program ever had. During summer internship, developed and applied workplace skills. More importantly, had the opportunity to work with amazing women and experience firsthand the power of recovery from cancer. Designed the uniforms for Bike for Row and the Chicago Marathon fundraisers using Adobe Illustrator Photoshop, managed the social media pages with the other interns including postings on Instagram, Facebook and Twitter to promote ROW and provided updates on the Bike for Row tour. Reached out to the media to get free press for ROW events, organized office, receipts and files, negotiated and ordered tent for regattas, sent out thank you letters to fundraisers using Microsoft Word, designed stickers for the Bike for Row Team Bus, and assisted at rowing practices on the water.
