Purpose: The REAP program aims to assist agricultural producers and rural small businesses in implementing renewable energy systems and making energy efficient improvements. By providing financial assistance, REAP helps reduce energy costs, promote sustainable practices,andsupporteconomicgrowthinruralcommunities.

Eligibility: The program is open to agricultural producers and rural small businesses grants located in eligible rural areas. Agricultural producers must derive at least 50% of their gross income from agricultural operations. Rural small businesses can include a wide rangeofenterprises,suchasfarms,ranches,ruralmanufacturers,and ruralsmall-scalerenewableenergyprojects.
