The 13th Annual Intemational Grenzland Cup took place March 16, in Aachen, Germany. Twenty-one trampoline athletes from the U.S. took part in the event. There were six divisions: Women's Open, Men's Open, Girls 17 & Under, Boys 17 & Under, Girls 14 & Under, and Boys 14 & Under. To find out how each USA athlete did, check

The Stella Zakharova Cup took place in Kiev, Ukraine, March 28-29. Capital Gymnastics' Ashley Postell, coached by Tatiana Perskaia and Victor Vetrov, won the gold medal on beam, the silver on vault, finished fourth on floor and fifth all-around . Postell , 15, also won third place in a special award for most elegant gymnast. The competition included gymnasts from Russia , Belarus, Ukraine , Netherlands, Brazil, Bulgaria, Belgium , Canada , and the USA.

out www.uso-gymnostics.org/tt. Below are the highlights: In the Women's Open competition, Mackenzie Stone of Pocatello, Idaho, came in third place with a score of 99.7 pOints. Kallan Kampas of Plano, Texas, just missed a spot on the podium with her fourth place finish. In the Men's Open competition, Ryan Weston from Chubbuck, Idaho, finished sixth with a 104.70. In the Girls 17 & Under competition, Shanelle Landry of Lafayette, La. , won the Girls 17 & Under with a score of 99.9 points. Landry's teammates Alaina Hebert and Erin Blanchard placed third and fourth. In the Boys 17 & Under competition, Daniel Owens of Pecatonica, III., narrowly missed a spot on the podium with a score of 94.9. Good enough for a fourth place finish, Owens' score was just 0. 1 pOints behind the third place finisher.

USA Wins Medals Gymnix International

In the Boys 14 & Under competition, Phillip Devine of Pecatonica, III., won the Boys 14 & Under competition in his first intemational competition. National Team Coordinator Joy Umenhofer said , "This was a great experience for our athletes. They did very well against some tough competition."

The 2002 Gymnix International took place in Canada, March 8-10 . The U.S. athletes dominated the competition taking the top four places for both juniors and seniors. Jordan Schwikert won the senior all-around title with a score of 36.550. Schwikert is from Gymcats in Las Vegas. World Olympic Gymnastics' Kaitlin White took second with a score of 35.725 while Terin Humphrey from Great American Gymnastics Express took third with a 35.400 and Parkettes' Kristal Uzelac was fourth with a score of 34.925. In the junior competition, World Olympic's Carly Patterson won the all-around with a score of 37.050 followed by her teammate Hollie Vise with a 36.050, Parkettes' Tia Orlando with a 35.375 and Orlando Metro's Melanie Sinclair with a 34.850. During event finals, White won the vault title, Schwikert eamed the bars title and Terin Humphrey grabbed the floor title. Russia's Irina Kryutchkova won first on beam. In the junior competition, Patterson won vault, Vise eamed the beam gold medal and Orlando won the floor title. Ukraine's Inna Teslenko eamed gold on bars.
