“My experience so far has been good, it makes my body wants to die. It is hard and paddling is hard, but yeah it’s fun. I signed up because I’ve never surfed before and I’ve always wanted to learn. So, I felt like being in San Sebastian, it would be a good spot to learn. In three words I would describe my surfing class as painful, fun, and therapeutic.”

- Kate Paruszkiewicz-Philson, Colorado State Univ., Fort Collins

“It has been a lot of fun and I have learned a lot, but it has also been a good challenge to look forward to.”

- Maeve Dunne, Wartburg Coll.

“It’s been fun so far, wish the waves were a little bit bigger, but otherwise it has been a good time.”

- Nick Ortiz-Pacheco, Sonoma State Univ.

“Surfing has been a really fun experience! It is a fun class to take away the stress of the other classes!”

- Bronte Micek, Univ. of Idaho
