Seeing through the lens of different cultures

I appreciated that we were all invited to participate in the Carnival and immersing ourselves into the Basque culture! Eskerrik Asko!

It was great to see that everyone had different costumes. I could feel the energy and excitement people had for the parade! I was initially surprised that some children wanted me to hit them harder with the foam ball. By the second day, I was prepared to chase the children and truly embrace the experience. Being part of the cabezudos was a unique opportunity that I won't forget!
