WATERPROOFING Henkel - Bituplus

Bituplus Bitumen membranes are plastomeric waterproofing membranes, manufactured from a rich mixture of bitumen & selected polymers (Atactic Poly Propylene) blended together to obtain excellent heat & UV resistant & waterproofing properties. The polymerized bitumen is coated on to a dimensionally stable reinforcement core of non woven spun bond polyester rot-proof fabric. The membrane has excellent tensile & tear strengths and has a high fatigue and puncture resistance.

Uses: Used as a waterproofing /damp proofing membrane for protection of various substrates in wide range of applications which include the: • Inverted Roofs.

WATERPROOFING Polycoat

Polycoat Non-Ionic water based bitumen coating manufactured to comply with ASTM D 1227 type 11, class 1 (Fibrated) & type 111 class 1 (Non fibrated). Fibrated emulsion is mixed with special reinforcing fibers for additional stability.

The coating is dark brown in colour & dries to a black flexible protective film. The finished films are tough & forms a barrier to water and vapour transmission.

Uses: Polycoat non-ionic emulsions are general waterproofing and damproofing material that adhere to a wide range of surfaces including concrete, metal, wood etc. They can be used as the protective coating for built-up roofing systems and other exposed surfaces, as a damp proofing membrane or as vapour seal.

For vertical and steep sloping surfaces the fibrated emulsion is suitable while the non-fibrated is ideal for horizontal surfaces and slopes up to 450. These emulsions are suitable for service temperature 100C to 850C.

Polycrete is a high strength, shrinkage compensated, free flowing concrete. The material consists of Portland cement, graded aggregates, special fillers, polymers and additives. When mixed with clean water and applied, it cures as per specification. Polycrete will produce a free flowing micro concrete, free from bleeding and segregation. Polycrete maintains good handling characteristics while mixed with water.

• Rapid strength development and high ultimate strength.

A polyvinyl acetate based liquid emulsion used as a surface sealer, bonding agent or admixture for cement and mortar.

Uses: • Adhesive Polybond PVA bonds with almost all kinds of building materials except PVC rubber and polyethylene. When added with suitable filler, it can be used for fixing plasterboard, ceramic tiles, marbles etc.

• Bonding Agent Polybond PVA gives mortars, especially topping mortars enhanced bond strength. The wear resistance of screed treated with Polybond PVA is improved than that of a conventional sand and cement screed. The topping will be dust free, wear, water, oil and grease resistant.

• Admixture Polybond PVA has a plasticizing effect which improves mortar application, increases the mechanical strength of screeds and renders, reduces shrinkage and has perfect adhesion even on smooth concrete.

• Surface sealer Polybond PVA can be used as a surface sealer for concrete and floors to minimize the dusting and penetration of oils. It can be used as an effective primer to certain decorative coatings.

Polygrout Polygrout Is polymer rich cementitious tile joint filler. It is a blend of selected cement, graded filler and selected polymers which when mixed with water forms a durable and tough joint filler that can be used for sealing tile joints .

Uses: Polygrout TL can be used to fill the joints of tiles, marbles or granites where the joint width does not exceed 4mm .

Advantages: Polygrout TL is water resistant, crack free up to 4mm wide joints.

• Available in white & grey. Other colours are available on request.

• Ideal for both interior and exterior use.

• Non fading - colour is specially formulated with selected pigments so that fading does not take place over a period of time.

• Rigid filler - it has strong bonding properties so that the grout remains in place permanently without.
