Urban Prep's Annual Mom Prom 2023: "Mama You're The Queen of My Heart"

Urban Prep Students Messrs. On Friday, May 12th students escorted their Mothers or Mother figures to Urban Prep's Annual Mom Prom. Guests enjoyed music, food, a 360 camera and portrait photos. It was truly a night to remember as we honored Mother's Day weekend.

Urban Prep Students Participate in UChicago Money Think

Chicago Urban League Celebrates Decision Day with UP

The Chicago Urban League celebrated Bronzeville Seniors with Decision Day where each young man announced the college they will be attending, similiar to Urban Prep's College Signing Day that took place a week prior. The students received shirts and other gifts to recognize their accomplishments. Pictured: Mr. Chandler Brown announcing his college; Messrs. Jermaine Jackson and David Allen during the event.

Urban Prep Attends Private Screening of "Shooting Stars"

Students from the Urban Prep Downtown Campus pose with their free shirts given by the screening sponsors after viewing the newly released movie "Shooting Stars", a story about NBA Champion Lebron James from the Los Angeles Lakers. Students were inspired by the moving story of Lebron James and his closest friends.

Network Senior Tropaia held at Maggiano's Downtown

On Wednesday, May 31st Seniors from across the network gathered with family, Urban Prep faculty and staff at Maggiano's in Downtown Chicago to celebrate their many achievements in their academics and school service. Salutatorians Messrs. Jaylen May (ENG), Dayion Gage (DTN), and Kevin Scott (BRZ) addressed their fellow brothers and reflected on their four years at UP.
