It has been a wonderful week with children doodling on the wellbeing pad, sharing messages and writing inspiring stories for friends in the I am Brave book. Avani and Emma have read stories to the younger children, discussing how the characters had found their brave and we have all practiced our breathing to help calm us down. Sharing stories together enables us to discuss difficult emotions, worries or how to solve problems with our child. Save the Date: Charity Walk in aid of WWF Australia Bushfire Emergency Fund—Sunday 1st March, 2pm The Nursery have had a busy week that started with a visit from PCSO David who came to talk about his role and to share the story of PC Ben. Our letter this week has been ‘f‘ so Mrs Cañas has demonstrated her wonderful flamenco dancing. The children had fun trying on the dress, hat and shoes and then taking part in clapping rhythms and dance moves. Lastly, we had a trip to the Windsor Garden Centre and have bought seed potatoes, flowers, vegetables and herbs, some of which can be fed to our new pet, Elvis. The ‘f’ish were a great success and the children were fascinated by their sizes and colours. Our potatoes are now chitting in school and the runner beans are under starters orders.
