THE MARINES PRAYER

“Heavenly Father, I put on the full armor of God to stand against the schemes of the enemy. I cover myself with the belt of truth, the breastplate of righteousness, the shoes of the gospel of peace, the shield of faith, the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is your Word.”

SIBLINGS

Dear Dad,

I really miss you. You taught me so many things, especially how to be strong. I never had to go a day needing something because you made sure I wanted for nothing. You took care of everyone. I knew that I would have to lose you one day, but not this soon. You taught me not everyone is my friend, and that was okay because you were my most friend.

I may not have been the best daughter, however, you were the best father. I cannot put into words how I feel, but you meant the world to me & I don’t know how I’m supposed to operate without you. I know that you would tell me not to cry and to be strong, but I do need you Dad. I promise to try my hardest to be as strong and brave as you were.

I will take care of grandma for you. I promise to make sure that you are proud of me. I love you Dad.

Love Always, Aniah

Perh aps you sang a lovely song, or sat quietly in a chair.

Perhaps you sent a floral spray, if so we saw it here.

Perhaps you spoke the kindest words as any friend could say.

Perhaps you were not there at all, just thought of us today.

Whatever you did to console our hearts, we thank you so much, whatever the part.
