LANGUAGE PROJECT DATE OF SUBMISSION: March 18th, 2022 CLASS: ELEMENTARY 4 TITLE: VOCABULARY TREE MATERIALS NEEDED: 1. Cardboards (one white and different colours) 2. Colourful pens or markers 3. Gum or glue PROCEDURE: Step 1: On the white cardboard, make a tree design using the different coloured cardboards and gum. The design should show the different tree parts- root, trunk, branches, leaves and fruits. Step 2: Label the respective tree parts with the colourful pens or markers. Use a variety of colours for the different parts. Step 3: Labeling example: A. Root: write the word of your choice from your Vocabulary Virtuoso text or the one you featured on ‘Word Exploratory Day’ on the ‘root’ cardboard design. B. Trunk: write the part of speech to which the word belongs on the lower side or base of the trunk. Next, write the meaning of the word on the upper part of the tree trunk. C. Branches: write at least 5 synonyms on the right-side tree branches and at least 5 antonyms of the word on the left-side branches.
