Lepigen biological insecticide is a suspension concentrate of virus particles called occlusion bodies (OBs). Diamondback moth (DBM) larvae ingest OBs by eating sprayed crops then become infected. The virus uses the insect’s own metabolism to replicate itself and invade the cells of the insect, causing it to rupture.
