Protect brassica crops like never before.
Lepigen biological insecticide is a suspension concentrate of virus particles called occlusion bodies (OBs). Diamondback moth (DBM) larvae ingest OBs by eating sprayed crops then become infected. The virus uses the insect’s own metabolism to replicate itself and invade the cells of the insect, causing it to rupture. Upon rupture, new viral particles are able to spread epizootically by wind, rain and other invertebrates throughout the crop, providing ongoing control of susceptible caterpillars without impacting beneficial species.
