How to apply

Psychology as the study of behavior, it has close links with the biological and social sciences as well as with the humanities such as philosophy and literature. The general aim of our program is to contribute to the intellectual and personal development of each student. Some students will choose to pursue more advanced studies in specialized areas, whereas others will choose to develop their studies within a broader educational experience before moving into a career in a wide range of employment sectors. The program endeavors to enable students to develop their capacity to contribute both to their own development and to that of the society in their future career.

Recent years have seen a massive growth of interest in behavioral issues in everyday life, ranging from stress, health, human-machine interaction and artificial intelligence, to social dynamics, personal development, mental illness, management techniques and the environment, to name but a few. Our students develop skills in experimental science, communicating with others, statistical analysis, and research, ensuring that our psychology graduates are well equipped to pursue a range of careers.

Psychology MA The aim of the program is to train professionals in psychology, who, with their knowledge acquired in various fields of psychology, can face the mental challenges of the contemporary world. As we provide a general Master’s degree in Psychology, our students are eligible to apply to any kind of psychological jobs or post graduate studies (clinical, organizational etc.). They are also prepared to continue their scientific carrier at doctoral level. Our students are qualified in several fields of psychology and gain special knowledge in Counselling and School Psychology. They learn the methods and instruments used in professional work, and are able to implement these with individuals, groups and organizations. The system of continuous practicum provides the students the opportunity to apply their knowledge gained during the courses and get constructive feedback about their performance.

Stipendium Hungaricum Scholarship Program The Stipendium Hungaricum Scholarship Programme was launched in 2013 by the Hungarian Government as part of the government policy called “Eastern and Southern Opening”. The scholarship program is managed

by Tempus Public Foundation.

The core mission of the program is to increase the number of foreign students in Hungary and to encourage Hungarian higher education institutions to attract top foreign students.

Currently 60 sending partners are engaged in the program.
