INFINITY FESTIVAL
2022 UNT DAY AT THE INFINITY FESTIVAL On November 12, 2022, the Fort Worth Museum of Science and History spotlighted UNT researchers, students, and alumni during UNT Day at the museum’s Infinity Festival. The event, which featured a wide variety of COI activities, showcased UNT activities and emerging technologies through hands-on explorations, opportunities to participate in technology research, demonstrations, and expert talks. As part of the festivities, UNT students, researchers, alumni, and other museum guests were able to explore crystal structures through virtual reality, add their own voices to narrate a professional video, experience the inner workings of the brain through digital technology, and participate in a virtual reality fitness workout. Other activities included poster sessions, research presentations, networking opportunities, and a UNT student-faculty lunch. UNT’s mascot, Scrappy the eagle, greeted attendees and was a highlight of the day’s festivities. The annual Infinity Festival provides opportunities to learn from and interact with the diverse UNT community. We hope you’ll join us next year!
