It is significant to take advantages of the infrastructure and employ more effective networks in the study area in order to attract people and achieve the goal of ‘soundscape’ by promoting variety of experience and activities.

HISTORICAL REMNANTS Principles 1 Enhance biodiversity and natural system Objectives - Increase green space to 60% throughout the site, including pocket habitat and corridors for urban ecosystems -Construct artificial reefs under piers and rocks to increase local marine biodiversity and support native species -increase habitats for both local and migratory species by extending tree canopy, employing diverse green space and waterfront conditions.

Principles 2 Improve water resources and quality Objectives -Encourage ground water recharge through permeable ground cover which proposed taking up 50% of the site -Harvesting rainwater in subbase replacement units and reuse on site for non-portable uses and irrigation -Mange stormwater by water-sensitive urban design, which allows groundwater to recharge and be treated before being discharged into the bay

The proposed Bays Station would be located between Glebe Island and White Bay Power Station, with an entrance to the south of White Bay. It would provide direct access to the future Bays Waterfront Promenade.
