Well there’s no need to fret because BSOC will be offering weekly social sport sessions on campus to help you get into shape and also it will be a great way to meet new people, have some fun and exercise all at the same time!
Studies have shown that a minimum of 2 and 1/2 hours per week of moderate-intensity exercise is needed to keep yourself healthy, but let’s be honest, who can really be bothered with that tedious 30 minute cardio workout? This is where BSOC Sports has got you covered with our weekly social sport events, where you can drop by in between your tutorials or lectures for some sporting fun! Although details are to be confirmed (be on a lookout on our BSOC fb page for updates!), our social sport sessions will be offered for two to three hours twice a week.

The interfaculty day is a purely fun and slightly competitive (may be an understatement) event where teams can enter electing a faculty to represent in a range of sports. Last year teams fought it out in touch football, soccer and rugby representing the Business, Law, Maths or Medical Science societies. We are proud to say that BSOC finished the day as champions, taking home the trophy which we hope to keep! This year we aim to make the day bigger and better in every way, ensure that you keep your ears open and sign up to this exciting event later in the year.
