The best clues I could find were from looking at the program credits (with much thanks to Mitt Dawson for posting the video).

"Custom Exercise Music Created Provided by Aerobics Records Inc" "Music Director: Dan Slider" "Music Clearance: The Clearance House" "Executive Producer: Howard Schwartz" I'm assuming the song title is either "We're the Champion(s)" or "The Champion(s)" This appears to be the starting lyrics: We are the wind, watch us glimmer.

Like the sunset of champions!

Given the company age, it seems to be the right place to look, but given the lack of product seemingly put out after 1989 who knows their current status.

I looked through all of those titles and didn't find a recording with anything with 'Champion' in the title. Either the song title goes by another name or maybe the song was exclusive to the TV production.

I found another recording not within the discography above 'The Motivator', but it appears to be by another company by the same name, or is perhaps another branch of the same company.

I think Forrest Haller is/was a producer, but I'd be surprised if any of the above information is still current.

I was looking at some of the links in the source pages and noticed that the song was also used in the 1986 Crystal Light National Aerobic Championship, but apparently without lyrics.

It would appear it was a theme song, but sadly the useful information found in the 1988 production weren't included in the 1986 program credits.
