Human Resources Project Management Consultant (Performance Management, Human Resources Division) The United Nations World Food Programme (WFP) is the world's largest humanitarian agency, fighting hunger worldwide. We are seeking to fill the position of HR Project Management Consultant, based at our Headquarters office in Rome, Italy. Performance Management at WFP Strengthening the internal Performance Management and Accountability framework and practices is one of the most relevant current challenges that international organizations face. Over the last years, WFP has made very significant progress in this area. Currently, the organization is undertaking a relevant change effort to enhance alignment, staff engagement, team effectiveness and accountability through the review of the performance management landscape. This area of Performance Management has been identified as one of the top priorities within the new People Strategy. Our Individual Performance Strengthening Branch is currently seeking a Consultant to bring innovative thinking and support to further reinforce this area. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to the effectiveness and efficiency of such a critical and dynamic organization as WFP. Under the general supervision and guidance of the Chief Individual Performance Strengthening Branch, the HR Project Management Consultant will be responsible for the following key duties: ·

Co-lead projects and initiatives within the Individual Performance Strengthening Branch to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of WFP’s Performance Management (PM) practices Support the implementation of the change agenda in this area Support the review of workflows, tools and process related to PM Support the development and update of the Performance Management main tool, liaising with different stakeholders that set the requirements and the development team which implements it, Design and support the rollout of the new tool and procedures, through an engagement campaign and an effective communication plan Contribute in the team to improve the practices of providing rewards and recognition within the organization, including piloting of new schemes and models Contribute to capacity development in the area of Performance Management within the organization through the design and implementation of communication, knowledge sharing and training initiatives

Qualifications & Experience Required Education: · University degree in Organizational Development, Human Resources Management, Business or Public Administration, Social Sciences or related field. 1
