Tracking Support for the MDGs Integrated Implementation Framework (IIF) http://iif.un.org/ This site records and monitors commitments made in support of the Millennium Development Goals (MDGs) by UN Member States and other international stakeholders.

Data is displayed through an interactive data visualization and mapping tool, raw datasets and searchable qualitative data entries.

Millennium Development Goals Indicators: The official UN Site for the Millennium Indicators http://mdgs.un.org/unsd/mdg/Default.aspx This site presents the official data, definitions, methodologies and sources for more than 60 indicators to measure progress towards the Millennium Development Goals. The data and analyses are the product of the work of the Inter-agency and Expert Group (IAEG) on MDG Indicators, coordinated by the United Nations Statistics Division.

It is intended as a tool for policymakers, development practitioners, journalists, students and others interested in learning about the Goals and tracking progress toward them.

“The World We Want 2015” Platform http://www.worldwewant2015.org Citizens and stakeholders worldwide are invited to participate in the World We Want platform. The interactive post-2015 platform provides a space for citizens to contribute their voices to the global consultations on the post-2015 development process. What kind of world do you want? Join the global conversation today!

http://www.myworld2015.org The UN and partners have teamed up to put in place a global survey, called MY World, where citizens worldwide can share with the UN, and in particular the Secretary-General’s High-level Panel, the development issues that most impact their lives. MY World complements the World We Want 2015 platform and acts as the public entry point to the post-2015 development process. Voting is currently online and offline throughout the world.

-3The Secretary-General’s High-Level Panel of Eminent Persons on the Post2015 Development Agenda http://www.post2015hlp.org In July 2012, Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon announced the 27 members of a High-level Panel to advise on the global development framework beyond 2015, the target date for the Millennium Development Goals (MDGs). The Panel is part of the Secretary-General’s post2015 initiative mandated by the 2010 MDG Summit. UN Member States have called for open, inclusive consultations involving civil society, the private sector, academia and research institutions from all regions, in addition to the UN system, to advance the development framework beyond 2015. The work of the Panel will reflect new development challenges while also drawing on experience gained in implementing the MDGs, both in terms of results achieved and areas for improvement. The Panel will submit a report containing recommendations to the Secretary-General in May 2013.

The UN Development Group (UNDG) http://www.undg.org The UNDG unites the 32 UN funds, programmes, agencies, departments, and offices that play a role in development. The group’s common objective is to deliver more coherent, effective and efficient support to countries seeking to attain internationally agreed development goals, including the Millennium Development Goals. Established by the Secretary-General in 1997, the UNDG designs system-wide guidance to coordinate, harmonize and align UN development activities. The group strengthens the UN development system at the country level, prepares it to meet future challenges and ensures that operations are conducted in accordance with mandates from UN governing bodies such as the General Assembly.
