There’s no need to navigate the college search and admission process alone. The Division of Continuing Studies (DCS) offers a flexible, individualized degree program, ideal for adults 21 and older. Students interested in the Bachelor of Multidisciplinary Studies program are encouraged to meet with an academic advisor to receive a free unofficial transfer credit evaluation.

ER IC H A MILT ON College of Public Affairs and Community Service Criminology & Criminal Justice Major / Theta Chi Fraternity / Black Excellence After starting his college career in Iowa, Eric decided to join the Navy. When he was medically discharged, Eric knew UNO was the perfect fit to provide him with the support he needed while he worked towards a degree.

“I’ve been able to use UNO’s Office of Military and Veteran Services, which have provided me personal support with injury rehabilitation and mental health counseling.” Eric said.

One of the best parts of UNO, Eric said, is the inclusive atmosphere. Since coming to UNO, not only has Eric been involved with the university’s nationally-recognized military support services, he’s also joined the UNO chapter of the Theta Chi fraternity as well as a group called Black Excellence.

If you are transferring from another school, your financial aid will not transfer with you to UNO. You must add UNO to your FAFSA application and have your eligibility evaluated at UNO. This includes your Pell Grant and loan eligibility. You must reapply for aid each year by completing the FAFSA.
