IT HAS BEEN INTERESTING TO SEE HOW GOING TO COLLEGE CAN MAKE A HUGE DIFFERENCE IN YOUR LIFE. “Ha sido interesante ver como ir a la universidad hace una gran diferencia en tu vida” Lizbeth Perez vivió en México hasta los 14 años y será la primera en su familia en graduarse de la universidad.

Lizbeth esta estudiando negocios y es parte de la comunidad “Scholars Academy” en la Facultad de Administración de Empresas (CBA en inglés).

En esta comunidad encuentras estudiantes de un nivel de ambición alto, a quienes les encanta enfrentar retos.

“Al estar en Scholars Academy veo a muchos estudiantes que están haciendo cosas extraordinarias, que nunca me imagine serian posibles”, dice ella. “Cada vez que veo a mis compañeros, me motiva, y me empuja a que yo haga lo mejor que pueda.”

COSTO DE ASISTENCIA

La Solicitud Gratuita de Ayuda Federal para Estudiantes (FAFSA por sus siglas en inglés) es el formulario que el departamento de educación de los EE.UU. requiere para determinar tu elegibilidad para ayuda financiera. Para completar la solicitud FAFSA, debes usar la información de impuestos de dos años anteriores a la fecha anticipada de inicio de estudios en la universidad.

El costo de asistencia es un costo estimado completo y razonable por completar un año académico de 9 meses como un estudiante de tiempo completo (27 créditos o más). La información en la tabla es para el año 2020—21.

FEDERAL FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE The Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) is the form the U.S. Department of Education requires to determine your financial aid eligibility. To complete the FAFSA, you will use tax information from two years prior to your anticipated college entrance date.

Starting October 1 of your senior year you can submit your FAFSA. Apply as early as possible to maximize the amount of aid you receive. Completing the FAFSA is the first step toward getting aid in the form of grants, loans, and work study. UNO’s school code 002554.
