PROJECT BRIEF

Welcome to the offcial NEO Hotel & Resort styleguide. Here you’ll find everything required to know on how to stay in line with the specifications that make up what NEO is.

The goal of NEO is to create a never before seen enviorment for artists to recover and become reinspired with what made them artists in the first place.

NEO Hotel & Resort is a new form of hospitality for artists by artists. We focus on creating an enviorment that celebrates creativity and individuality.

With ammenties that showcase what NEO’s in house artists create. We wish to show what happens when inspired artists inpire eachother.


DESIGN OVERVIEW The focus of NEO’s design elements are intended to capture the audience’s attention and thus have them establish a relationship with NEO’s mission. A place to inspire and reconnect artists with their passions.

While Vegas isn’t known for being an artist’s playground, NEO is here to challenge that. By challenging artists to play in the uncomfortable and different is essential for communicating what NEO’s artist aspect is.

All choices from the logo, color palette, to the type have been carefully curated to the ensure that audiences will look at NEO’s iconography and envison themselves in the atmosphere that NEO offers.

This is accomplished through designs based in one of our favorite artistic concepts, blending old and new, specifically neon art with gothic imagery. The imagery is then arranged in a way similar to a hotel to assit in conving the hospitaltiy aspect. Finally, our colors are representative of lights or stars in the night sky.

When it comes to the main theme of being for artists by artists, NEO’s black canvas is a challenge to artists, while many artists play on white backgrounds we challenge our guest artists to play in a space that isn’t the norm, a black background.

The intention with our colors is that they are known as popular in neon lighting and seen in space and thus evoke a striking contrast to the black background.

Franklin Gothic was made to be a simple and easy Sans Serif Typeface, with a wide range from book, to bold. We use this for messages.

Avance Pro is a serif type face with a simple but professional look while allowing for an elevated look on our logos and stationary.

Magneto is a vintage looking typeface with a bold and sans serif look.The typeface was selected to evoke neon lettering.

Roses

The symbols used in NEO’s logo are flowers and hearts. Flowers are known to be a common muse to artists and hearts are for the passion inside every artist. The flowers create a look of a garden in front of the heart, while the heart looks like pair of doors. This is to invite guests into NEO’s heart and open its artistic doors.
